  1. CJ Scrapbook || Greystone Plaza

Greystone Industried World Headquarters in Illium City is complete. Including the ever-lovely Greystone Plaza.
  2. The Kingdom of Illium // ISIS Targets the Alliance

Not -quite- dead yet. The Kingdom of Illium seemed to have upset Daesh. Which was in response to this:
  3. Cities: Skylines patch 1.2.2-f2 released, limits raised!

It's not. The game on any kind of high settings can lag, especially in large cities. I've got a city of about 500,000 and my setup is pretty beefy. Liquid cooled AMD FX 9590 OC'd at 5.1GHz, GTX 780ti and the game on an SSD and on all high settings the game FPS drops under 30. C:S is very system-taxing game.
  4. CJ Scrapbook || Greystone Plaza

Not really Skylines, but there's no other place for it. Plus it falls under the CJ Scrapbook of mine. "The view from my 35th floor apartment is amazing! Greystone World Headquarters is just across from the transit plaza. I love this city. It's an inspiration, really... Such a great place to settle down. It really is the City of Dreams." - Adam Young.

Why. Why have I not followed this CJ before. Subscribed. The last youtube video had me in tears. It's so beautiful. So very beautiful. Oh and @Atys' , There IS a mod that removes that yellow tint saturation in the daytime. It's NOT a LUT either, it's an actual mod. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=530871278&searchtext=

This reminds me like a tiny version of Phoenix. I like it!
  7. Aurora - The Bright City

I love this CJ. Lovelovelove it! I'm hoping I can figure out why my game crashes when I load it. Probably too many mods/assets (I have something like 1.4GB). Anywho, I'm curious where you got those monster Radio Telescope dishes for your peak? I'd LOVE to have them!

I'm really surprised I haven't posted here in recent years. That being said, My SC4 doesn't work on Windows 10. I have to buy it again on Origin (which is fine, I just have to spare up some play-money first. Kids and bills are expensive.) Anywho, here are some contributions from (much) earlier. The first manned survey mission to Mars. The crew will dock with the Mars Transit Vessel "Avalon" in earth orbit. Then, they'll make the two year round-trip mission to the Red Planet. They have a lander with them, but are instructed not to use it unless conditions are literally perfect and supplies are in a surplus. Opening of the 2014 Alliance Games in Illium City. Notice the fine details, like the filled stadium with the flag and the reflections on the water. I spent several days preparing the opening of the Alliance Games. Christmas in New Dallas. Because of the location in the Southern Hemisphere, the Kingdom actually is in mid-summer during Christmas. The lower portions of the Kingdom, like Illium City and New Dallas, can (sometimes) have pretty severe winters, but for the most part they remain mild year-round. A much older shot of the Kingdom, well before it joined the Alliance. One of my first real photoshop works. The Calistan Federation launched a massive surprise attack against the Kingdom of Illium. The devastation left thousands dead and wounded, and a city in ruins. The attack also struck the industrial complex on the western banks of the Illium River, including the SIU Hydrogen Power Station, leaving nearly a million people in the Illium City metro area without power for weeks. In this iteration of my CJ, it ended up being the downfall of an entire city. It made Detroit, MI look like a paradise. The population of the city went from 1.4 million to a measly 375,000 virtually overnight. Entire districts were abandoned and left to rot. Fortunately, When I rebooted the CJ, the attack was scaled back to just a terrorist attack on the city's infrastructure, and they rebuilt, more grand than ever. And this is the oldest night-shot I have, dating back to 2008-09 time frame. A Joint Naval-Air station, later named Port Virmire. The clear outline of the base can be seen, and I still love the way it is so distinct and different (especially the docks) from the surrounding town.
  9. The City of Rockhill

This is probably one of my favorite CJs.

I will address these issues. -The at-grade intersection is there because a) it's a terminus and hardly used, and b) the slope-restriction mod I have is extremely restrictive and I didn't have the ability to go down or up. Although it might have looked better. -Crap, I didn't even see the grid. Good eye. The news channel UI I can't do anything about lol The non-RRW texture is because this is pre-RRW. Hence the throwback. Also, I agree that the KoS picture is pretty legit. In fact, I prefer his over mine. I just thought I'd throw something in to keep this going!

  12. ARIA (Aurora Radio Interferometer Array)

This is awesome. Totally awesome. Are these on the steam workshop?

the Dynamic Reso mod can really tax the GPU. I've got two ASUS ROG Matrix Platinum 780ti's in SLI and with the dynamic resolution mod, ambient occlusion and sun shaft mods with a large city can bog me down to under 20 fps.

From the album Weekly Challenge C:S #2 - Interchanges

According to some users, this random shot of the IH35 and Loop 121 Interchange in Shamrock City is a HOF contender? Either way, I spruced it up with a nifty title and submitted it. I use an extremely severe slope mod to add to realism, and am very happy with how this interchange came out.

Welcome to Citadel Cove. Hanlon Park, with the Citadel High School at the far right. Citadel Station South: One of two passenger stations in the town. Wind River Square, the only Master Planned Neighborhood in Citadel Cove. Shot from inside Wind River Square. King's Bridge. The only access crossing the river (other than the highway). As you can see, King's Bridge is a double-decker bridge. Both spans see a fair amount of use. Presidium Dam supplies power and water to the entire region. An overview of the area, including the local Wards Quarry. Please enjoy!

A simple, lovely cloverstack with a loop on one of the ramps due to slope constrictions. I use a pretty severe slope restriction mod to add to realism. I'm actually really happy the way this one turned out.

Well, I have bad news and good news. Bad news is, I lost what was going to be my next scrapbook post, Cascade Bay (seen below) during the upgrade (and subsequent failure and corruption of data) to Windows 10. I have it working now, mostly, although Windows still refuses to Activate. Good news is, Helios City was not one of the corrupted saves. For the longest time, I couldn't get into the city save file without it crashing to desktop. Now it doesn't seem to do that. I will be able to continue to work! Here's what was Cascade Bay:
  18. Acheron

This reminds me so much of my birthplace just outside Picayune, Mississippi. It has a very "Southern Charm" feel to it, like something you'd see out of a Southern Living magazine! I love it!

It didn't wipe the hard drive, but it corrupted the save file. Actually it corrupted most of the %localappdata% files. It's unfortunate but recreating Cascade Bay shouldn't be too much work. What ended up happening is the failed upgrade was a bad install, so I had to install windows 10 on a separate HDD. I've backed up most of the important things like my lunar project, but I have a long way to go before I'm back up and running at 100%
  20. Show us your Area view

I am a sad panda. Thanks to a failed upgrade to Windows 10, and subsequent loss of most of my data, I no longer have this beauty of a city. However, the map itself was saved so I can edit it and rebuild it how I want

I don't even care if I lose this one. That is a BEAUTIFUL image, LN X. n
  22. So, we have a mars overhaul... why not a Lunar surface one? Graphics can be fun, especially since making things modular would make things easier. I think it'd be fun! I can can make BATs like no other for this project, it would be terrain and such I'd need help with! So, What do you guys think? This was made in a single night, as a sort of proof of concept. It's a lunar "Emergency Services" structure (Fire Department):

Boreal Bay. Unfortunately there are some problems with water flow. I spent about an hour fixing the map. I've also terraformed some of the bay in that image.
