I am unclear: which mod did you use to get the dirt roads in the pic of the town on page 1?

Which structure is the most efficient to educate your sims?
superjaberwocky replied to simmax's topic in SC4 Showcase
I don't know if anybody else has pointed this out or not, but the Prima strategy guide lists the age groups affected by each education building. They are very similiar to the results posted here already, if I remember correctly. I'd put them up here, but they're at home and I'm at work. -

This is a smaller library for your small towns or rural areas. I created it when I found a need for a 1x2 library, and I thought I would share it with all of you. It is basically the regular Local Branch Library, modified to sit on a 1x2 lot with roughly two-thirds of the capacity and a plop cost of $800. Let me know if you have any problems, and happy downloading! -

Simulcra, Have you considered posting this as an article on the Omnibus? I think it would fit well there.

simmars-forum-threads Sim Mars, a SC4 Conversion
superjaberwocky replied to GouRou's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
I found some information, and development pics, of Maxis's SimMars. Maybe these can serve some use to the conversion effort. Below are links to two sites that had previews of the game. It was intended to be released in the fourth quarter of 1999 (guess they missed that launch window ) SimMars Preview More Detailed (still sketchy) game info -
Official BAT Request Thread
superjaberwocky replied to trackseventeen's topic in SC4 - Custom Content
I have a building request for all those BATmen out there. Probably a lot of you have seen this building in movies or on a very famous police badge: it is the Los Angeles City Hall. I have attached a couple photos of it. I think the night-shot of the building would look great in SC4. Any takers on this one? -

Speaking of Sim Mars, whatever happened to Maxis's idea for that game. I remember hearing something about it years ago, but nothing really since. Was it ever finished/released?
