Today, we're taking a historical look at some of Europe's most iconic landmarks. I wanted to capture as much of Europe's impressive history as possible, so I've done scenes from a variety of different eras - hope you enjoy this trip back in time!

Stunning! Your work is a great homage to all of the beautiful sites you've visited and I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us.

I've been feeling inspired thanks largely to your work and fired up SC4 for the first time in almost a year, with a grand vision of restarting my own CJ (which actually has several chapters in reserve).  ***cue the sad trombone*** and CTD while loading, even when running a plug-in free game on a brand-new computer. Sigh...

Well, that's enough of a pity party from me. Great work as usual!

Awesome.   Really dig the Acropolis - sure would have been a sight to see, all painted up

It's so nice to see all those places again --and the sepia treatment, old photos, mmmm !). I think the one I like best is the Amsterdam pic... (I just saw a picture of that very place the other day, in a documentary, and I couldn't help saying : “Oh, it DOES exist !”, and laughing. (You know you've played entirely too much SC4 when you hear yourself saying that, or "SimCity !!!” every other day, watching television documentaries or movies...)

If your brand new computer has a dual core processor that could be causing some conflicts.  I ran into that issue myself and there is a code I entered into the settings through Steam and I haven't had a single crash since.  And that's with over 20,000 files in my plugins folder.

Also, if you're using the disk version, I'd recommend upgrading to the Steam or GOG versions.  I don't think they cost more then $20 bucks (occasionally I'll see a sale and it'll be as cheap as 3 bucks).  If you're already using one of those, I'm not quite sure what it could be.  If you feel up to providing some more detail I'd be more then happy to try and help out.  I lost years to this game with crashes and other stability issues and now I couldn't be more pleased with the performance after finding many of the fixes I did.

@korver stunning work as always!  I really, really want to build an Amsterdam style city now.

@mike_oxlong Thank you for the kind words! Glad to hear that I've served as an inspiration *:thumb: I'm sorry to hear of your CTD issues, I dealt with some of those in the past and they can be really soul sucking. Hopefully some of @nycsc4's suggestions can help you out *:)

@Dead_End *:thumb:

@Goldman Sachs Thank you very much! Appreciate the suggestion but I've already switched image providers a couple times so I probably won't be changing yet again. However I did find mess around a bit with my JPG settings and there should now be a bit less color loss now hopefully.

@ESP15 Really appreciate the kind words *:thumb:

@RobertLM78 Thanks for the comment - glad you liked the Acropolis scene!

@tariely Heh, I've had that same feeling on many occasions *:lol: Glad you enjoyed the update!
