Hello everyone, I am a unemployed, 22 year old moocher at the moment. Tired of work/everything so I am taking the next couple years to mooch off my parents for a bit. Using the basement as a party pad/living space for the time being.

How do you do? I'm Dwain and I am a 42 year old job seeker (too much time on my hands). I finally got bored of Civilization II and decided to dust of the old SC4 discs. I've played the whole series except SC300. Somehow I missed that one. I enjoyed SC4 but got frustrated with the bugs, the Maxis buildings and the limited transportation options.

Recently I was surfing the Web and I found this lovely site. I was just amazed by all of the options that were available. So I joined Simtropolis and have been exploring the website.

I enjoy the City Journals section and am amazed by the quality of the content. I never imagined that this was possible on this platform. My compliments to the talented authors!

Hello I am new player to Sim City 4. I am 23 and a conservative Christian. (check out the "Mennonites" and "Anabaptists" if you are interested. I call myself a "Moderate Conservative Mennonite"). I enjoy old school radio (aka radio nostalgia(ie "The Great Gildersleeve")), movies(aka film noir) and tv series(ie Ozzie and Harriet). I enjoy very few of the new school movies. Hello, Simtropolis!

I'm an occassional SimCity player who first met the series in the form of SC3K-World Edition some years ago, and I loved it and played it lots. Unfortunately, the game committed suicide (the incident involved a tiny fracture in the game disk, and lots of centripedal forces. That disk station is still full of SimPowder), so I had to give ut up...

...until my brother bought SC4 Deluxe a year back. I was awestruck, but despite lots of experience (I thought) with Sim City, I still didn't manage to build a functional city. So I looked at the Internet for help, and all FAQs pointed here. Long story short, here I am.

On the civilan side of things, I'm an 18-year-old soon-to-be structural engineering student from a place near Oslo, Norway. I'm also very interested in roller coasters, and fairly obsessed with Pok

Howdy folks.

I'm 21 years old, from Kansas City. I grew up in KS, but live on the Missouri side now for school. I go to community college now but in the Fall I am transferring out to Uni, probably will be studying Urban Planning/Design (So I guess digging out this game was ideal, huh? ) I actually bought the deluxe game a couple years ago but just didn't stick with it.

In terms of gaming, I really enjoy tactical shooters and simulation games the most.

Aside from games, I am also a musician. I play guitar pretty frequently. I like a lot of stuff but primarily metal and symphonic.

(I'm reposting my introduction to this thread, I didn't know that there was a thread for introductions)

Hey all, just introducing myself.

About me:

I'm Jin (online name, real name is Ben), 16 years old, live in London. I'm a third Polish, a third English and a third Swiss. I plan to get a career in either the army (officer), video game industry (game design/promotional/animating) or media (editing/animating) after I finish A-Levels and University. My parents are both architects.

Experience with SC4:

I got Sim City 4 when it came out in 2003 (I was 10 when I first played it LOL, all my cities were a mess . Played a bit of Sim City 3000 when I was younger, but I don't remember much from that one except for the relaxing soundtrack, I have in iTunes now), but the computer I played the game on broke in 2005, I forgot about Sim City 4 after that and lost the game .

About 2 years ago, I was just searching through some old games on Wikipedia when I found Sim City 4, I looked at some of the gameplay on YouTube and it really made me want to play it again, so I bought the Deluxe Edition of the game and, damn, its just such a good game, I should never have wasted my time on those RTS/FPS games (Battlefield 2142, Supreme Commander etc).

Why I'm here on Simtropolis:

I've been playing this game and I'm getting tired of doing the same old stuff you do. I searched for some Sim City 4 mods and came here to Simtropolis, just downloading things from here. After about 2 years, I've decided to come out of the dark and start contributing to the Sim City 4 Community here on Simtropolis (Once I've learnt how to use these programs e.g. gmax, got any good tutorials? My parents have LOADS of magazines on architecture and buildings dating back to 1978! So, I got loads of buildings that I could copy from those)

Other stuff I do:

I make promotional videos for Mods on ModDB and some random videos for myself. I also play other types of games on the PC and PS3 (real time strategy, turn based strategy, first person shooter)
