Hey!

So the names Alex. I've been a long time visitor of ST, however never really introduced myself and I figured it was time to just pop a Hi and get involved a little more, lol.

I live in Calgary and let me tell you, it's a fairly boring city. The opportunities here are astronomical, especially employment, however when it comes to entertainment, Calgary is not really that lively. Here in Calgary, I enroll at the University of Calgary in the field of Architecture and i'm in my 3rd year, also working in a co-op program where I work at a architecture firm as a sort of "junior architect" if you will.

I've been playing SC4 for a long time now, but still learning in the game and attempting to make my cities good. ST has really improved my gameplay and I will definitely use the new members section to get the necessary downloads and hopefully introduce my first city journal on here! =)

Long time gamer, 44, living in The Netherlands (and Switzerland from time to time), married, kids, dog and too little time to really play games.
Anyway, bought a copy of the game last week and was surfing the net to look for 'some' extra information. Stumbled across this site and talk about extra information. I'm absolutely amazed about the depth and variety.

Hi my names Leo, i've played sc4deluxe since summer '06 when i was 11. and ive played with mods since last summer.

and i also want to know why 80% of time i post in a thread, it slows down or stops or no one else wants to post in it anymore?

Can someone please explain this to me?

Not likely!

The forum is some times a bit slow to reload after you hit reply...  the trick is to minimise the reply window and hit F5 to refresh the page inbehind.

Clicking reply more than once will create extra duplicate posts.

The forum is being upgraded to version 6.0 soon so hopefully it will run a bit faster.

Well i'm not new but i've been kind of a ghost in the background on ST. Lets see, I'm 14 years old. I live in Texas just 30 minutes drive out of Houston. The reason I joined is becuase I saw stuff about the Netword Addon Mod (NAM) on youtube. lol. I've downloaded everything having to do with NAM and everything made by pegasus. I have two, whatever you call 'em, things in the forums, SC4 vs societies and what do you want in Cities xl. I've never made any bats or lots of any kind but I really want to.

Simy City 4 seems like a great game, but it's pretty damn deep, and my city is stuck at 60 population despite having plenty of jobs in a neighboring region(which I have a connection to), and my desirability is fine.
