Degital Earth (aka Nyaho Taro) Collection (legacy)

These LOTs, Models and the custom Textures were created by  Degital Earth (aka Nyaho Taro or Totsugeki taicho/Assault Captain) and originally was uploaded onto his personal website (http://www.usamimi.info/~wataw/), but these contents are no longer available there. The collection now available via my google drive (which I use for the STEX Custodian and other legacy custom contents related projects).

Special Thanks and gratitude goes to @Raymond7cn, who managed to get these contents from the original creator.

This Collection contains 10 original (but slightly updated and organized, but the main features and capacities haven't been changed) creations from Degital Earth and an English localization file (which is actually included every separate zip as well) made by me/Tyberius06, because the ingame names and descriptions of these contents were written in Japanese character set, which makes them unreadable for the not Japanese versions of the game.
In all cases I provided an English language htm based readme, also kept the original Japanese readme.txt, but to save them, due to the special character set I converted them to UTF-8 charset. Where there was original readme, I also made a rough google translator based English translation in *.txt format.

    List of the Collection:

    DE - Elevated Station (Kouka-eki)

    M8nuyX9.jpg

    DE - Big Torii

    C5Zo5F4.jpg
    DE - Hydroelectric Power Plant

    ve8x7s5.jpg

    DE - Keiichi House

    BIoNyz6.jpg

    DE - Local Rail Station

    xOqrRhh.jpg

DE - National Highway Maintenance Office

    K5pYRy7.jpg

DE - Radio Base Stations (Kichi-kyoku)

    8GXyFOO.jpg

    DE - Radio Tower (Denpatou)

    Tt8p9lM.jpg

    DE - Underground Carpark

    Fc3F379.jpg

    ----------DEPENDENCY for the Elevated Station----------------

    DE - Texture Set v2

----------DEPENDENCY for users who don't use the game in Japanese-----------------

z_Degital Earth English Locals - this folder is included with all the above listed contents (except the Texture set), and can be found in the _Documents folder too. Best option if you keep the provided folder structure after unzipping the contents (which means you will get a Degital Earth parent folder into the root of you plugin folder) and copy this z_Degital Earth English Locals folder into this Degital Earth parent folder. By default the LOTs are coming with Japanese character sets (as it was originally intended).

Credit goes to Degital Earth/Nyaho Taro for creating these contents.

    Hi everybody!

So after last year the initial idea finally has come up to create a legacy account for lost contents, mostly to cover those cases where the original creator of the said lost contents doesn't have an account on STEX, the @STEX Custodian finally uploaded the first set of lost contents. This time we bring you Sanankoku's really nice creations from 2007-2008. His/her site went down a couple of years ago, and however you can see images about his creations on the boards of the SimCity Force site, the actual contents were lost until now. The files stayed intact, I haven't changed them, although I made an extra english language locale file (since the original files contained japanese characters, and the EU and US versions of the game can not really handle very well those character sets), which contains all the item names in English in LText format in the DAT file. Somehow Sanankoku's creations gave the initial kick into this project in the CFI thread, so as a first update here is his/her collection.

    Hi everybody!

So I started to clean up a some of the Polska files. In the first round I probably will release the easier (and due to my personal use already organized) ready to go stuffs. I try to release a few of them in the following week. Probably some of the PGB Team's and Aras (AC)'s uploads will come first since his creations were mostly simcitypolska exclusives. But for now I brought two prop/dependency packs.

    AC Saturn Prop Pack

MRQS - Passanger Railcar Prop set (Wagony Set 01-02)

    Enjoy!

So here we are again. I brought you 4-5 uploads this time. Finally the long awaited and demanded Gurry's Sea Wall set has been uploaded and also its (mostly diagonal) Addon. And three great Polish office building got its upload from Aras (AC).  Next time probably, I'll continue with Aras's creations and after that I'll try to bring stuffs which are marked by the PGB Team. Well we will see...

    @Silur

The idea of the Mega Props Pack is to reduce the number of dependencies which have to be downloaded for any given file. This is a good thing and makes it easier on both lotters and players. And to be honest, I feel Tibi should be praised for all the work he's done to make this available rather than disagreeing with the way he has packaged it. If it's not suitable for you, you have the option to not download it. *;)

I have no problems - these are problems for new players. 5 GB in plugins - this is serious!

I think that in the zip Poland folder you can pack props of different authors, and not mix everything in one pile ...

    Hi @Silur

I think, I don't need to remind you the size of @Simmer2's megapacks :D :D :D I don't know how that 5 GB in plugins come from, the Polish megapack is 32 Mb anyway, the full polska cataloge will be round 500-600 Mb in total with everything (maybe less). Of course those will be separate uploads, before someone would missunderstand me. You download this file and mostly would cover the polish side of the external dependencies. It's actually easier for new players.

So I will not upload the separate prop packs publicly. But on demand for personal use ONLY, I'm willing to share them, if someone ask me via PM, but there is a strict rule. ONE can NOT refer to them as dependencies (the mega prop pack can be refered as dependency), can not include them with their possible uploads. These are developer files for lotting purposes.

No problem - I have all this for a long time. And I use simple packages from the great SM2 and simple packages from BSC, Polska, Doc and others. I very closely monitor my plugins and can not inflate them to heaven. I have nothing against mega packages - 5 hours of work - and I have what I need.

    I wish You success

I do believe that whenever possible, a creator's models should be packaged together, in a pack with their name on it. This seems much more respectful of their contributions to the community than "here's a bunch of Polish stuff".dat. It's easy to see how some people may find that offensive. It's also hard to imagine that any STEX or LEX uploaders would want their creations to be treated in such a manner.

Also, there are very few packs that provide the full range of props a lotter are likely to use. Common dependency packs are common for a reason. This Polish pack does offer a variety of road signs, playground equipment, industrial stuffs, trains... I just don't know how many lotters are going to use a swingswet and a cement mixer on the same lot, so I can't even say the packaging makes sense that way, as there's no cohesive theme. This is likely to discourage lotters from using the pack as a common dependency going forward, which is unfortunate.

Whereas Simmer2's prop packs are fairly cohesive in theme, while being collections from a single creator. So the larger size of the packs isn't a drawback for lotters as there is quite a bit to work with from a single pack. It's also important to note that Simmer2's props are HD, which will always be larger in filesize than SD props. So any comparison is invalid. Anyone using his packs as a reference on how to make prop packs going forward should pay attention to just how cohesive the packs are, rather than seeing the filesize alone and thinking it's a good idea to just throw as many props into a dat as possible even if they have absolutely no relation to one another.

One thing that seems to be missing is a prop family for the 63 variations of trains. Having the family/families included in the prop pack would prevent lotters from having to create the prop families for each lot that would use them, or requiring whatever package such a family would be in to be used as an additional dependency rather needlessly.

As always, any criticism I provide is intended to help with this and future projects, and should not be taken personally. I likely have more experience creating prop packs than any other active member of this forum, with the possible exception of Mattb325. So take it as you will.

Well - I just wanted to say that it will be easier for new players to use individual dependencies. I can use for my purposes only 4 (400-410-420-430 fsh) fsh, png or jpeg with great ILives Reader and some usefull great tools - nothing else more.

Hm... Thanks for the feedback. Although I'm wondering why everybody was waiting for until the release, while the plans had been out for weeks now. It would have been better, if I got this feedback before release. Anyway. It wasn't a coincidence that I shared those informations in advance, prior a release. Ok, it's in the SimCity Polska Club, which has been the relevant forum for all the developments regarding these files and their organization.  Hm.... was it the announcement on the SC4 Devotion @xxdita?

@xxdita I've already mentioned this before in one of our PMs, that I don't act ramdomly just for fun. I asked the releavant person, who is the keeper of the SCP files catalogue and was the last active admin of the SCP site, and he hasn't got any objection about packing these contents together. In fact, his own contents take place in this pack and when I asked if he wish them as separate release or packed them together in the megaprop pack, he chose the later option. Also in prior he got this whole package even the separate packs to check them if it's OK. The initial idea was to bring all these separate prop packs from various polish artists under one roof. What you are saying about "much more respectful of their contributions to the community" is understandable, but also way too sentimental. I see that how you protect the long inactive creators (mostly BSC of course) vision and legacy, and that's really nice. Everybody has a different point of view and keeps different things important. In this case preserving these lost contents in this way was the way to go. Less mess, less additional dependencies, one pack - enjoy...  Nobody touched these contents for years, and probably likely would have ended up as forum attachments upon requests in the CFI thread.

BUT. I do understand what you are saying and in some point I do agree with it, although there is reason why it was handled like this. The main reason of this prop pack, that this is a legacy pack to cover the need of the polish-themed dependencies of the polish contents with one go.  But let me explain how it was built up. The main part is Fordoniak Polish Prop Packs (vol. 1-2), that was the base. The problem is that there are 5 different versions of it at least. That lead me to compile Fordoniak's polish houses and blocks (models and props - I created the props where it wasn't provided by default). Then kbieniu7's creations (palm trees, road signs, and the bus depo warehouses) were added. Then I found some standalone floating models here and there without any lot or prop or anything, just a model file. Obviously those haven't been planed to be published as standalone releases, so they got into the pack. Just like other smaller props from different uploads. So in this case everything now is in one place.
I was considering two things. Whether I should include the MRQS RailCar set and the Aras Saturn prop pack (since those were already released separately), or leave them out and put just the other prop packs in it. The decesion was made, that Aras (AC) Buses should go with the pack too. From there it seemed to be a good idea including everything, since it was meant to be a legacy collection for the polish legacy contents. The additional option for lotters is still given, they can use the pack if they want.

By the way, in a normal case, I would do separate named and themed megapacks.

I would agree with you on this one, if (taking the experences from the last 4 years) I've been seeing lotters using the common sense and small dedicated packages instead of full plugins folders, while they are making their custom contents with maxis Lot Editor, whether they are releasing it for the public or keep them for themselves. Respect for the minority. Also this leads to the other clue, that most of the general lotters don't use the PIM-X, beacuse it has a hard memory limit, so one can not use full plugin folder, because that would break the tool, also I heard the opinion, that it is too complex to use (????). The plan (since I knew that there was going to be a few people like Silur, who liked the smaller packages) has always been, that upon request, I would share the separate developer packages for lotters, while the rest can enjoy the ONE dependency package covering the SCP legacy contents.

Now, on this point I totally disagree, but we are stepping onto the "different taste and methods field".
There were two reasons, why prop families haven't been made for the railcars. First, because the original never contained them. (In the polska collection actually there isn't a single content, which actually used these train props. I'm not sure if on the STEX there is a single upload, which uses these trains as dependencies, and for sure they are not on LEX.) Second, because I don't like premade prop families like this in the main dependency package, specially in that volume.
I would rather encourage lotters to make their own props and families from existing models (using PIM-X for example as the easiest way) (and not from the provided props) and then including those as an internal/included dependency with their own uploads. So yepp, I would support the method, that lotters should make their own prop families and provide them as an internal dependency. If that works better, they can make their own additinal dependency package which likely contains the created and used prop families by them. So they can update their own dependency package (even if it has actually additional dependencies), whenever they expand the collection of the families. But this is just a method what I prefer. I'm using the same method. I've created a huge dependency package which based on several BATters' models - Girafe cars, AndisArt's cars, the people props from Nams and Delecto's prop packs, sevaral HD railcars. This contains regular and timed props and families too, and technically this package of props supports my lotting projects. I use these prop families on a bunch of lots. Anyway, none of the original prop/model dependency packs from the different original creators (which my created props and families based on) provide prop families by default in this case. I had to make all the props according to my taste and vision for myself and since I shared this package, if someone wants to use, they can use it. It took me half a year, but it's worth it.
Also premade prop families would represent my taste in this case, sharing the railcar props into 4-5 etc... prop families reflecting onto what? All the greens and blues into one family and the red and yellow ones into an other one? Doesn't make much more sense. And what if the lotter doesn't like the yellow ones and wants only the blue and red together... Or was I supposed to make a prop family for any possible permutation? I don't think so.

    10 hours ago, xxdita said:

I didn't expect that this was going to be missunderstood. Silur brought up the size of the Polish Mega Prop pack as an issue. I brought up Simmer2's megapacks due to their size. How is it invalid? Noboday was talking about the quality and quantity of the contents inside the packs, because it's irrelevant. The complaint went to the size of one pack, I brought up an other pack as an example which is even bigger, so that shouldn't be a problem. I know very well Simmer2's megapacks, they were created partially upon my request at the first place, so I didn't need to link 10+ extra dependencies after his packs, just one or two. :D :D (now 4... still not 24-ish or something)

Anyway. These few feedbacks were important to me, as I said, I wish they would have come before I released the pack.
What I can offer, (but please feel free to provide suggestions and oppinions), since it's not a huge deal actually, and relatively easy to make it, that I would chop the pack up. Since the railcars already on the exchange, I can take them out from the magapack, but update them into one single DAT. I think what is on the STEX currently has its original format. For the megaprop pack I renamed all the props, so they have been grouped together under the "SCP_creator names" initials. As for Aras contents, I can take them out from the megapack and update the already released Saturn Prop pack with them as a general Industrial-themed prop pack and even kb7's busdepo/warehouse models-props can be included. Since kbieniu7 was happy with the way that his creations were included into the megapack, then the rest would be untouched.
That would mean actually two megaprop pack and a single railcar prop pack.
Polish Mega Prop Pack vol. 1
Polish Mega Prop Pack vol. 2 - Industrials
and the already uploaded MRQS Railcars Prop Pack.

But, I'm open for suggestions at this point, so go ahead, please.

I do apologize for commenting late on this, Tibi. I do appreciate everything you're doing to get the Polska stuff available here. I don't want you to feel like you need to explain it all to me; if you feel justified in how you've done it, that's good enough for me.

It has always been recommended for lotters to use a limited amount of Plugins when making new creations. False dependencies can show up otherwise, especially when using Maxis LE and SC4Tool. It's important that lotters make a point of familiarizing themselves with the packs available, and making the most of them. As lotters become more experienced, they gravitate towards specific packs more and more.

I think I mentioned the difference in the SM2 packs probably for my own benefit on a subconscious level. With multiple conversations going of making it easier on newcomers, I have given serious thought to combining BSC Mega Packs. But I managed to talk myself out of it. It would probably just confuse people at this stage anyway. If/when newer packs will be created, then I won't worry so much about keeping to the old 10MB filesize, but existing packs should be fine as they are.

Instead they're dependencies which are provided for use on selected older content items, such as the Medical Institute lot, and also the Money Office too. Many of these items were developed prior to the release of the Maxis bldgprops files, which meant they used IIDs which were different for how the props are assigned.

This file might be updated with additional older props when sourced and worthwhile. The reason we're sharing this is just as a resource for those few times such old lots might be preferable. We feel it helps to give people choice, and how the original authors would appreciate this all these years later.

@Tyberius06 ... Thank you for taking the time to explain it! I see now why there's not an easy conversion table.

    Hi everybody!

Well, the latest phase of this running WMP Restoration project came to an end. As I see, I never made offical post here about the released WMP Mega Prop Packs, nor about the promised explanation of them. Sorry for that, but RL and rolling out some part of this project kept me busy.
So the links for the uploaded new contents can be found in the first post of this thread, bear in mind with the occasional updates and new versions. Sometimes it happens. So in the previous phase these following, new Mega Prop Packs were released. I try to explain a bit, what is in the new packs.

Let's start with the most important WMP/RFY dependency. This pack is essential, without this you will get nice brownboxes on your WMP lots. Bear in mind, that since its initial release (which was on 25th May), it has been updated on the 15th June 2020 and now the new version is WMP Essentials v1.0.1. If you have the previous version from the initial release, you are highly recommended to redownload and replace the old one with the v1.0.1 update.

    WMP Essentials v1.0.1:

You can read these details on the download page and in the readme, but here is what takes place in this upload:

This Essential file contains following elements from the previously released WMP creations:

    • - all the previously released wmp dummies/blank model files - all of them. Which means that the previous ferry_dummies and subway_dummies have been merged into this as well.
    • - all the different WMP custom queries and UIs from the prop packs, resource files and lot sets.
    • - all the custom made TE network paths for the WMP lots (the default paths in the WMP Essentials.dat support RHD setup)
    • - Since the original Causeway set and Boardwalk set had the same custom queries, a new UI property (with new IID) has been added which gives a slightly modified text to the WMP Murimk Boardwalks. (NEW!!! WMP Essentials v1.0.1)
    • - as an addition IF you use Left-Hand Drive (LHD) setup, you can find a LHD support file in the Documents folder. You need to place/copy that z___zWMP_LHD_Paths folder into the Plugins\WMP\Essentials\ folder if you used the default/provided folder structue, otherwise it MUST load after the WMP Essentials.dat file.

WMP Mega Props vol. 01 - Misc, General Props

The new mega prop sets got many userfriendly improvements (cons now you need to deal with a mega prop pack instead of the single prop packs).
This first mega prop pack mainly contains 500+ props including the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • all the not strictly industrial based fences - like: spam log fences, the previous single fence and wall prop packs
    • most of the cars, pick-ups, taxis, parked car props from various single sets. Exceptions are the trucks.
    • allotment and some of the garden props. The garden props were diveded accoriding to their usage. If it seemed to be usefull as an industrial/agricultural type of prop, then those props were excluded from this megapack.
    • previous power props, the single pole power poles and all the lamp pole/posts from various single sets.
    • the not cargo/freight/worker people props from various sets
    • some general props, like benches, fountain, news kiosks, dumpsters and trash bins.

WMP Mega Props vol. 02 - Misc Industrial Props

This second mega prop pack mainly contains 300+ props including the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • industrial based fences (rdock, ruraldock, rail yard, ethanol)
    • industrial vehicles, trucks
    • ethanol buildings, grain silos, Distillery etc...
    • all the industrial related props and models from the rdock, rural docklands series (cargo and freight props, working people) and the ethanol, distillery, sugarshacks and various warehouses from several uploads
    • collection of barges, boats and small ships

WMP Mega Props vol. 03 - Port Autority Ferry

This third mega prop pack mainly contains 28 models and props including the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • the main models of the several different ferry lots: road, street, truck, rail, rdock and ruralDock ferries
    • small ferry related props like signs

WMP Mega Props vol. 04 - Port Autority Seawalls

This forth mega prop pack mainly contains 58 props and models including the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • the general seawalls from the ferry sets
    • rdock seawalls
    • ruralDock seawalls

WMP Mega Props vol. 05 - Railway Props

This fifth mega prop pack mainly contains 50+ props including the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • Art Deco (AD) Station Props, buildings and platforms
    • Centrail Station platforms and building
    • Railyard and roundhouse buildings
    • Small signal houses, signals, signs.
    • rural freight and passanger platforms, buildings

    WMP Mega Textures v1.02

This new Mega Texture set contains the textures from all the previosly released WMP Texture packs (WMP Textures 1-10 and the WMP Mega Textures) and it also has the textures from the previous wmp_spam_freight_props2, rfy_warehouse and rfy_cardealer props, which contained some custom textures.

    RFY Mega Props Vol. 01

This mega prop pack contains the following elements from the previous single prop packs:

    • - Car Dealer props (NOTE: the original prop pack contained custom textures, which has been merged into the WMP Mega Texture vol. 1.02)
    • - Container home props
    • - Warehouse and industrial cargo props (NOTE: the original prop pack contained custom textures, which has been merged into the WMP Mega Texture vol. 1.02)
    • - Bus Depo props (NOTE: the original prop pack contained custom textures, which has been merged into the WMP Mega Texture vol. 1.02)

So as I explained in the previous post, there is no direct one-to-one replacent between prop packs and mega prop packs. The megaprop packs totally replace most of the single individual prop packs. There are six single prop packs, which hasn't been merged (and they are not planned to be merged) into megapacks, these are the following:

    • - monorail models/props (v2) - it will be uploaded also with the lot set
    • - bridge models/props (v2) - it will be uploaded also with the lot set
    • - rowing props (v2) - it will be uploaded with the Rowing Club set
    • - tunnel props (v2) - it will be uploaded with the Tunnel lots too
    • - rfy viaducts (v2) - it will be uploaded with the updated RFY Rail Viaduct set.
    • - murimk-wmp causeway props - they will be uploaded with the updated Murimk-WMP Causeway Set. - This used to be actually 2 prop packs, one with a murimk bench the other is the causeway seawall kit. They were merged together.

So to cover these "missing" prop packs, in the next phase I updated (or in the case of the LEX/SC4Devotion uploaded them) them on the STEX, both the lot side and the included prop pack side. If you already have these from their original release, you are still highly recommended to update to the new version. You will find the relevant cleanitol/remove files at the end of this post as attachments (sorry, I forgot to include them one-by-one into the updates). So the followings are the currently updated WMP creations. Bear in mind, that only the here listed uploads have got the latest updates and also have been uploaded to the LEX

WMP The Bridges of Shoreline County v2

    • Updated/reorganized folder structure.
    • Updated lots, descriptions, icons
    • Updated included dependency file - wmp_tunnel_portals01_v2.dat, as an included dependency, which can be used and referenced for future lotting projects.
    • +1 additional lot with the Road Tunnel
    • on the original Road Tunnel LOT the tunnel prop has been repositioned. It is highly recommended to bulldoze and replop this lot if you previously used.

    WMP-Murimk Causeway Set v2.01

    What's new in v2.01?

    • Updated/reorganized folder structure and readme.
    • Updated lots (capacity, transit switches), descriptions
    • Updated included dependency file - wmp-murimk_causeway_props_v2.dat, as an included dependency, which can be used and referenced for future lotting projects.
    • +1 additional lot: WMP_Causeway_Wall1_bench_abed3839
    • The extra seawall lot generated a silly visual bug uppon saving due to the used base textures. The base textures have been removed, the lot no totally transparent, which solved the issue
    • The old Causeway Terraforming Tutorial has been restored, thanks to @vortext, and now it's attached in a bit of updated format. Soon a HTML based separete upload will follow it on the exchanges.
    • the z_WMP Causeway RVTStreet.dat has also been restored, thanks to @rivit for his generous help with it.

    WMP-Murimk Boardwalk Set v2

    What's new in v2.0?

    • Updated/reorganized folder structure and readme
    • Updated lots, descriptions and UI - If you already had the WMP Essentials prior this update, you need to re-download the v1.01 version (released 15.06.2020) and replace the old one with it.

    WMP Abteibruecke (Cloister Bridge) v2

    What's new in v2.0?

    • Updated/reorganized folder structure and readme
    • Updated lots, descriptions
    • The previous/original WMP_Abteibruecke.dat file has been removed and reworked; the actual bridge models have been taken out and merged into the the wmp_bridge_props_v2.dat, while the additional bollard props have been merged into the WMP Mega Props vol. 1. With this new update, this upload only contains the WMP_Abteibruecke_Lots.dat with the two bridge LOTs.

    RFY Viaducts v2

    What's new in v2.0?

    • Updated/reorganized folder structure and readme.
    • Updated lots (capacity, transit switches), descriptions
    • Updated included dependency file - rfy_viaduct_props_v2.dat, as an included dependency, which can be used and referenced for future lotting projects.

The props, models, textures, custom queries, UIs are mostly all DocRorlach's (WMP) and his associates' and pLynn's (RFY) work, the custom paths (as far as I know) Rivit's work.
For more information, read the attached readmes, and for sure everybody recommended to use the attached cleanitol files and remove the old single prop packs if they have. Those packs have been totally torn down and rebuilt for the mega packs.

After these updates, I'm taking a little break, because I need to take care of some of my own uploaded creations. The rest of WMP/RFY uploads will be updated on STEX and uploaded onto LEX later in this year. If I manage to get through on my own stuffs relatively quickly, then august/september, but dependending on RL commitments there could be delays. Also it is possible, that I will make sudden/random updates if I have time at any time. Not to mention that I have around 6-7000 (yepp, thousand) downloaded and semi-organized contents, which are waiting for to be organized finally, and these are the files what I currently have on my HDD from different sites (LEX, STEX, CapitalSim, SimcityChina, japanese sites etc...)

You can also expect in the future an updated version of the Polish Mega Prop Pack, which will be more userfriendly, then the current bulk one.

    Have fun and take care!

    Hi everybody,

Long time passed without any updates here, but now I brought some long awaited SimCity Polska files from the stock. Also the previously uploaded dependency packs have been reworked/rebuilt and reuploaded with new versions, so please remove any of the old ones (or run the provided cleanitols) and replace them with these new versions. I spent some time to rethink about the uploaded Polska Mega Prop pack vol01 and was reading some of the concerns either. I have fully given up the mega prop pack method, I still believe it makes more sense than dozens of small ones and I explained above how it was built at the first place. Now the second version (v2) is a bit different. I removed many of the contents which was already available here and there as separate prop packs (like kbieniu's roadsign pack, or MQRS's Passanger rail cars - later one already got an updated version, the former one is available on LEX and will be updated eventually), also I removed the industrial related models and props and they went into a new mega prop pack, which was previously know as AC Saturn Prop Pack.
This AC Saturn Prop pack was expanded by other related models created by Aras (AC), also from the previous version of the Polish Mega Prop Pack, I brought the single floating industrial models here. It got a few new stuffs though. I found in the stock some coal pile models serving some MMP stuffs also a bucketwheel excavator from Zarzyk, which got into this MISC Industrials Mega Prop pack. The lot for the excavator will be uploaded separately at a later time, so Zarzyk creation won't be burried under the mega prop pack completely (it's a really great model), but for future lotters it has bigger use in the megaprop pack than it's being a separate upload).

The Passanger Rail Cars created by MQRS are available in an updated single DAT form once again. You can read more about all the changes in the changelogs at the download pages.

So here is the stuffs which have been uploaded this time:

    Have fun and enjoy!

Fantastic idea.  Not so much, because I love this game.  But I am retired software engineer born when computers were only computing ballistic tables for the military.

SimCity and other classics are not just software, but art and our digital heritage ... no less than Hamlet or the Canterbury Tales.  So, this is a fantastic project.  DOSBOX has saved much for future generations.  I hope one day we will see a WINBOX/DX for games during the windows era.

Also, games from 1990-2005 were perhaps the golden age of gaming when new genres were being tried and the cost of entry into the field of digital entertainment was low.  These days it is like producing a Hollywood blockbuster.  We see little true innovation since the field went corporate and is now risk adverse.  Will Wright, Sid Meier, and others were continuously breaking new ground; not just porting board games and using the PC as a fast calculator or accountant.

    Hi all...

As per the policies and procedures regarding the @STEX Custodian account, this is a quick announcement to let everyone know of a new addition to the available files in the first post.

Hotaryuso's (a Japanese creator) files that had been available through OneDrive have been added to the first post.
The original site is still operational and can be found here: 天優翼/SIMCITY4 (exout.net). However, the original files downloaded through OneDrive are no longer available.

The included files are six files of Japanese commercial businesses and one sign.

Hello! I don't know if this is the right place to ask but I have a couple of files I would like to upload that are based on LEX dependencies and seemingly are no longer available, since I haven't managed to find them on SC4Evermore. I happen to have the original downloads in an old laptop and could help restoring them, but I don't know if this should be done at Simtropolis or elsewhere.
