It turns out the lot's proper name is "RT CdS Yacht Club and Marina, and I was looking for CdS Resort Marina *facepalm*

Yeah, now that one I have zero idea what that is. I haven't found anything like that on the DVD or among the LEX files nor among ancient STEX files that I have. It is only mentioned in the reward chain document. There is a Nexis Grain Shipping, but I am 99% sure, that is not the same, as that's a very early 2003 lot from @mrbisonm (aka Nexis), but that was created way before the advanced modding era started. What I can imagine that CSX did an update or relot on that one years later and added the necessary reward scripts, but I can't seem to find any traces of that. 

I'm calling @CaptCity for help on this one.

What you say is true, but unfortunately I can't run the game in hardware mode:( my pc is a toaster... I don't even know how I can make my bats

Little late to the party on this one. I also have a similar file as the one @jestarr provided. It installed as part of the CSX Extras Vol01 pack into a CSX Rewards folder. It is a bit newer and a different size. It was also included in the CSX UpdatePack Vol03. I've attached both in case there are any other interesting things in them...

I checked the files and I found that the version which comes with the CSX Extras vol01 is the most up to date version (from 2005) and that have the necessary LUA script for the Reward Chain. 

The update pack is dated to 2004, so that's still older and it does not have the LUA script in the file.

Contrary to what many believe, running hardware is not going to be an issue unless your graphics technology is both ancient and crap, like old school integrated graphics crap.

The game is from 2003, any Core i Intel Chip is good enough too. You’ll probably find the game runs better also.

Otherwise you simply can’t use this Automata and any other mods with textures beyond 256x256px.

For making BATs you can again use an ancient PC. gMax is also archaic and runs well on almost any machine people will be using today. I mean it doesn’t exactly run well on a solid desktop either, because it’s totally unoptimised for modern hardware.

I think that's San Francisco City Hall, which is a Maxis DLC building, as for all the beautiful Xmas decorations and lights, Idk if they were done in lot editor using props or if they were done in photoshop

Hello! Just about to try and start a new city after a while away.

I remember I used something named "BSC functional seaports" to fix the apparently broken in-game Maxis seaport. I can't find this anymore.

I have seen some recommend using CDK2 instead. However when I look at the installer I am overwhelmed and don't know what to install. Ideally I just want something that fixes what is broken and nothing more. At least not right now.

Also I am looking for a simple mod that lets me plop surface water to create simple streams and lakes. Not a canal but something a bit more natural but without any fluff. Just water.

Do you have any suggestions?

The BSC Functional Seaports are broken in the sense that they can cause Industry demand to tank out as explained here...

And hasn't been resolved since due to technical hurdles. But to be honest, the issue seems to only ever crop up in case-to case scenarios. But if you really still want to use them, a copy of the pack has been uploaded over at Cafe Naver SimCity Square here...

Can't help you with the first question, specially because I use the PEG Seaports

Yo, Mytzenka --

"Cahos" is quite correct -- the BSC Seaports were BROKEN and have never been fixed. 

I'm not sure if @Tyberius06 or @rsc204  have any plans to try and sort them out -- but I recommend strongly that you avoid trying to use them.  They not only disrupt the industrial demand CAPs -- but they will come into conflict with any Pegasus seaports in the game -- possibly/inevitably resulting in a "game crash".

That's because both mods, BSC Functional Seaports and PEG's Seaports, use what is called a Seaport Controller. That's the part of the mods' code that gives the items Seaport functionality, et al handling freight and dealing with Industry CAPs and such. And both does the coding differently, but are NOT mutually exclusive of each other. Infact both mods' Seaport Controller will conflict with each other and cause problems... CTDs being the worst case scenario.

Also, aside from these two Functional Seaports mods not agreeing with each other, a third mod that isn't exactly a Seaport mod per sé also conflicts with the BSC Functional Seaports pack and it's the SWAP Package Handling Facility from the Functional Airports pack that has Seaport functionality. It's even clearly explained on that old SC4Devotion link I shared about how to properly use and set up the BSC Functional Seaports pack that you SHOULD uninstall the associated items from the Airports pack to avoid said conflicts. I'm unsure if PEG's Functional Seaports conflict with the SWAP Package Handling Facility or not though so I can't comment on that front either *:???:
