And hasn't been resolved since due to technical hurdles. But to be honest, the issue seems to only ever crop up in case-to case scenarios. But if you really still want to use them, a copy of the pack has been uploaded over at Cafe Naver SimCity Square here...

Does anyone know how to obtain the radio station building prop for this lot? I may be misunderstanding something, but it looks like the mattb325 dependency only has the model as a building, not as a prop, so it's not showing up for me.

There is no solution to this problem, some code deep in the .exe is giving incorrect values when calculated. As modders we can't really access that code and fix it, so it's unlikely this will ever be resolved. As such if all you were looking for was a fix for this issue, then you aren't going to find one and should just accept the limitations of the Maxis Seaport.

Freight that goes to the Seaport just does nothing, whereas freight exported by Rail or Road to neighbours will increase Industrial Caps, allowing you to theoretically have more industrial buildings. So you sort of loose all the benefits of exporting freight if using a Seaport, this applies to every functional Seaport as it is the result of a bug in the code.

Worse case scenario is a trashed save file that has been corrupted and will never be usable again, this is not an area to mess with. But practically speaking that means never install the BSC or PEG Seaports, if you have the other already.

I can't download it right now to check that, but if you're right about it (the radio station being only available as a building), you can actually edit that and transform a building into a prop using PIM-X (https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/29-modding-and-creation-tools/21-sc4pim)

I left a message to @TakemeThere under one of the related upload and pinging him here as well. Alternatively a prop can be made with the same ID and added to the uploads if we can't recover the original desc file.

I've noticed a number of the T-Wrecks IRM addon lots have building models which aren't available anymore, is there any hope of them showing up eventually? For example 'IRM I-HT PolarTech by Tag_One' and 'SFBT Maschinenbau by MatheMan (SFBT)' and some others.

I can't speak to the ones which were on SC4Devotion like PolarTech, but a lot of SimCity Plaza files can still be downloaded via the Wayback Machine.

From what I can tell, the Mattb325 multifunctional station lots have not been returned to SC4E quite yet, just the prop dependency. In the meantime, I just wanted to check if the ultra modern stations are available anywhere:

They did not return, because at that time there was a different approach to update them and there were other plans too. I'll check if I can dig the updated files out and if they require much work.

Oops sorry about that! That building is MattB's Musik Radio station. I had it listed as a dependency on the old original version of the tower but forgot to add it to the updated HD version, here is the link

Appreciate it, but unfortunately the problem I’m having is that I can’t seem to find that radio station as a prop. The Mattb325 download just has the model as a building, so it doesn’t register as a prop for the antenna lot.

It’s very possible this a misunderstanding on my end, so thanks again for the help in any case.

Ohh I think I understand now. Yes I see... I made the building into a prop so that it would fit into a 2 by 2 lot since otherwise the lot would need to be larger, but it seems I never included that prop file in the download 🤦‍♂️

Alright I uploaded a new file with the missing prop desc, it should show up now.
