Hey there. So I was relotting a train station for my current city project and came up with a nice visual solution using an elevated railway station prop.  But now the prop is missing when I plop the lot in game and also in the lot editor.  I think it is something to do with the most recent version of NAM.  Perhaps this station was available in older versions and they got rid of it for this version.  I can describe the el-rail station prop as being modern, it had glass and blue parts and white pillars and every tile had an arch.  Anyone know what I'm on about? Not sure how I would get this back because it is probably embedded in an old NAM release.  My train station sucks without it as I was using the prop to cover up a big bare concrete wall and to make it look like the train lines were terminating inside the building by going through these arches.

On  a separate note, I only have one set of FAR W2W buildings and I am wondering if there are any more out there, I have searched the STEX and lex, but to no avail.

Heather. I'd dearly love some heather for my heath (or something that looks vaguely right) - but my Google-fu fails me completely. Can anybody point me in the direction of some relevant downloads?

@younghappy
 that one sounds like the Xyloxadoria's overhanging station that is bundled on the NAM. Reinstall the NAM in custom move and get sure to check the entries for the custom transit stations. Do not uninstall the NAM before that. Good luck!

Dhae, I didn't understand that :???: It could be because of the language barrier, can you rephrase it? I'm sure we can do something to help you!

I'm not so sure, considering that this is feather grass (Stipa spp., member of Poaceae):

nasella.jpg?format=750w

While heather is Calluna spp., from Ericaceae:

But honestly, at the sizes small shrubs or grasses can be seen on the game, that's almost impossible to distinguish.

Closest I found to heather is the purple bonnets in RRP pasture flora, or *cough, shameless plug*  the seasonal variant in my mmps pack.

Thanks for your help matias!  Fortunately I've not need to go to such measures since I remembered that it may been called something like BrickPiazza, and then I found BriPizza's website; there it was looking right at me :D

In any case, it is recommendable to install them from the NAM anyway, because their stats have been adjusted to the higher capacities the mod allows for (i.e. SLURPed), otherwise, the original stations could be easily overwhelmed with traffic when used as intended.

Okay, I will keep that in mind for the next time I update NAM. Well I have the props back in place which is all I was after :)
(This is OT but I saw that you are from Chile and I spent half a year there.  How is the wildfire situation now?)

Yeah, considering that your objective were the props, that's less of a problem for you now

(and about the wildfires, they are mostly controlled by now --and most emergency brigades are off-duty currently-- but there is no way to know what will happen next; in any case, it seems that the weather conditions that facilitated the fires are currently deactivated on this side of the Pacific, which is in any case very worrying for Australia, where they had had a much worse heatwave than ours: here the record temperature was 46 °C on one day, on one place, there they had gone over those numbers by more than a week!)

@DavidDHetzel

The small drive behind the gas station is a set of 1x1 parking fillers designed to go along with that monster University project.  They were done by "nos.17" and should be readily available of STEX.

The set has one piece, in particular, that is traffic enabled (to connect with the streets and roads).  This set comes in very handy !!  :ohyes:

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

That is not, in fact, my set. I basically modified the textures to accommodate SHK's cars (4 cars/tile) instead of the 5 cars/tile. They have never made it onto the STEX, though.

The drives used are included in the University of Clayhurst Starter Pack.

Where can I find Diagonal Pedmalls to mess around with in my Simcity 4 game?

Also, if anyone knows where to find Commerical "Pencil Towers" would be nice.

Sorry to ask again.  I believe the building pictured was relotted as a commerical hotel lot in STEX but I have not been able to find it.  Has anyone had a chance to find this for me?  Thanks.

Could this be the lot you were thinking of? https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/12456-el-paso-hotel/

There aren't diagonal pedmalls, but you can plop them in zig zag (at least one side touching another to keep pedestrian traffic flowing) and then use diagonal fillers (SFBT, MGB, there are several) to mimic the diagonal look, or to plop diagonal buildings around, taking care that the orientation allows for the buildings to be accessed.

Somewhere I have images of a pedestrianised diagonal street I did, if you want some reference

My apologies, Sir.  My memory is not what it used to be.

Apparently I downloaded it with the "Clayhurst" pack.

It is not the exact one but I can play with it.  I believe the lot I was referring to may have been first submitted in the original SC4.  Thanks for your help though.

that's what I meant... I have them for the basic pedmalls (in textures) but not in the other pedmall textures...

There is A good set of transitions, by Caribou, but I remember they aren't published on a exchange site. Anyway, a link to them could be on this same thread.

Edit: here it is, they are on Sim City China, you'll have to register there to download. If you cannot read mandarin, use something like Google translator, but access the registration formulary on the original language, because the translation breaks it.
