PS. Do it right while you still can. Make 11.25 - 22.5 - 33 - and 45 degrees variations of them all. I know it is a huge task but you will not regret it.

Once done it will be the biggest and most complete pack ever! Do not forget to include a couple of engines and possible 1 or 2 shunter engines as well.

I can't wait to see them on one of yours awesome lots.I will try to relase them as soon as posible. Yes, I will make versions on various angles and add some  locomotives, I was thinking to add a SD40-2,  a SW1500 and a GP38-2,  with different paint schemes, making it a  mega prop pack (maybe I'm exagerating, but it will have a lot of props).

Here are all of the tank cars, and the 60 ft boxcars (yep, I have only two),  a 66 ft bulkhead flat car, some well cars and a failed experiment of making individual articulated units, which I think it wasn't a very good idea.

Almost all of the 73 ft centerbeams and their loaded versions, only one has no loaded version, a really annoying incident happened when I tried to export it and now it's a corrupted file.

Thanks for all of your arduous work.

They look great! Since you are making them from scratch, you should consider rendering them in HD.

Gmax allows you to do that with this little extra file...https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=7430.msg238749#msg238749

Replace your scripts with these and you are good to go.

    Simmer2/Nick

@Simmer2 Wait what? Is it actually possible to make HD models using gmax alone!?

Yes, it's possible to make HD Bats in gMax. But, they are subject to the same poorer-quality renders that are the main reason to use 3DS Max instead. That said, gMax (SC4 BAT) can be more forgiving, and as plenty of creators have shown, the results can be quite decent.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

Hello there. Sorry for the long time since my last update, university keeps me busy most of the time, but I've been working a lot on this project too, and I'd like to say that is almost complete and maybe will be relased soon.

In this update, I'll show you new cars and new schemes for some of the cars that already exist.

In this pic you should see the folowing models:

    •  Six 89 ft autoparts boxcars.
    • Eight 57 ft refrigerated boxcars.
    • Sixteen Bethgon coalporter hopper cars (loaded and empty versions).
    • Seven steel coil cars (five new schemes).

Due to a bug with duplicated images, the next images will be posted on different replies.

In this image there are sixteen 59 ft woodchip gondolas, eight loaded, eight unloaded.

In this pic, there are thirteen bulkhead flat cars, with two different sizes: 62 ft and 66 ft. Seven of these models are used for general purpose, and the other six are used for logs (three loaded, three empty). All of these models, except for the ones loaded with logs, are unloaded versions only. This means that you can load them with whatever you want or need. For this reason  I made a set of different loads, listed below here:

    • Steel beams
    • Wood rail ties
    • Tarped load (2 different versions)

There are some more, but these are the ones used in this pic.

In this way, you have interchangeable loads instead of many bulkheads models loaded with the same cargo.

Ugh there is that horrible bug again.

In this image,  there are only new schemes:

    • Six new schemes for the 2 bay covered hopper.
    • One new scheme for the 3 bay covered hopper.
    • Two new schemes for the 40 ft tank cars.
    • One new schemes for the 50 ft boxcar.
    • Two new schemes for the 60 ft Hicube boxcar.
    • One new scheme for the 60 ft flat car.

The flat car, as the bulkheads, have different interchangeable cargoes. In this picture:

    • Pipes (two different models)
    • Wheelsets

Some of the bulkhead's loads are compatible with the flat car. (the flatcar loaded with military trucks are just an example of what can be done with flat cars).

I feel bad for not posting much here and not showing more interest, but in my defense, you really make it hard to think, say, and post anything but WOW! :golly:

Very nice work! A while back I had considered making some American train prop, but I'll completely write that off the list, these props looks great!

I can't wait to see your locomotives.

Very nice models! I am currently playing a little bit with some old railyard lots and those will certainly come in handy  :thumb:

Of course, don't rush, take your time, for me: quality > quantity :D

Great stuff going on here, this is going to be a very useful pack no-doubt.

These totally deserve to be modded into prop families, ideally with timed-options too. As such, I'm happy to offer my services to do the modding or help you out with it when the time comes.

These are all looking really amazing, did they get scaled +33% vertically yet?

You're doing a great job of capturing the variety of different prototype cars out there.

Fantastic! I also offer my time to make a complete multi layered timed, non timed and even slope tolerant family pack as soon as you release this pack.

..and also, of course, a fully custom made lot to showcase your work.
