Downtown Johnston, Pop: 84,000

Screenshot_486.png

Connected with a SPUI.

Trying to base this loosely off of Iowa City, IA. There has been a lot of 10-15 story buildings going up in the past 5 years there, mixing old and new, while IC's population is only about 75,000.

Damn Darf, your skyline is incredible! It looks actually like a real city, it has the perfect balance of density and skyscrapers!

Here is my skyline, working on Californian city on the coast called Oceanside.

I have to agree with @barcasam7and @hbn, your city looks phenomenal and incredibly realistic.

And, Bar, yours looks nice too. I'm working on a Southern California city as well. I'll try to take some screenies and put them up and we can compare notes. I'm going for as much realism as I can get.

Central square (well triangle) and tram stops. Gonna have to find things to put in this area. Probably turn it into a garden or something?

The buildings will eventually be filled in with plopped ones and moved around.

Decided to plop parts of the retail quarter. Bit towards where the cathedral stands in the square above, which I've decided will be a public garden/urban park. It was finished, up until the game decided to remove two of my corner buildings I so lovingly plopped and moved, despite having Zone Checker, No Abandonment and Find It enabled, latter of which allows me to plop anything without having to use the eyedropper tool. Would look better if I ran the game in full HD. Would also look better if I had a more realistic LUT... can't seem to find one that works for me though.

The small city of Urbino, lying at the adriatic sea, with some of the most beautiful parks, beaches and buildings!

I've already showed my city here before, but a lot has changed since.

This is a city I've been working on the past few months. The CBD is small, so there's not much room for monster skyscrapers. A lot of the older w2w buildings are ones that I deemed 'historical' so that's come back to bite me as well. I'm planning on doing a revamp to the waterfront. I want to keep it natural looking. I'm a bit limited though because the area is rail right of way.

My not very C, BD. Started this today so it's not exactly big yet. The pics show the district in contrast to the rest of the city, which contains slightly more than 20.000 people now. Average traffic flow is 92% and for all sectors happiness is at least 75%.20180104140605_1.thumb.jpg.b4695850f9e7965feb1a58d856d3e6c1.jpg
