Back with another one (or 2) of those block rockin requests, this time: Quays!

1) Custom "quays" or skins
I know @boformer worked on this for Network Skins, is it still in the pipeline?
What about various seawalls as selectable/upgradable quay variants from the native tab - is this possible?
Or how about different widths?

2) Right angle corners for quays
Would it be possible to have quays make angles instead of curving when not using curve or freehand tools?
I'm not sure if the 3D models can do that without freaking out or not.

It is very unlikely that I finish it this year. If someone else wants to take over, I can supply all the relevant information what needs to be done.

Can someone make illumination to the Burj Khalifa? I am not seeing Burj Khalifa with proper illumination, and probably adding more stuff as well. :)

On the other note, a complete Petronas Towers and Taipei 101 too please. :D

Request: One-sided paintable billboard

@GC_Vos Made this wonderful three-sided billboard with paintable templates. Could someone please make a similar billboard but make it only one sided. Also would be nice if it wasn't as tall as the one I linked. 2-5 meters (6-16 feet) above ground would be perfect.

Thanks

I'm looking for a mod that makes all base trees available in any biome.

Like the palm tree available in boreal etc.

Would this be possible? Or perhaps there already is one for this?

Thanks in advance

I really liked this building. If you find phototexture for me, especially the top decor, I include it in my To-Do list.

I still have no idea how to place it in the game. Unless it is decorative prop, for which you need to be a master of terraforming. But it is a very good idea.

The name of the building is Hotel Theresa or Theresa Towers. Lots of images to be found on Google, so maybe you'll be able to extract some nice textures from those photo's :)

IDK how to photo texture but like Judazz said there should be images on the internet.

A request from me: I'm looking for some small Leisure type New York or other american city style buildings like cafes or bowling areas or anything of that kind, which can easily fit into a 2x4 or 1x4 lot. These buildings need to both classic and visible, with huge signs or billboards so it's visible from a far what they are.

If you know any type of such building, give me a link to it on streetview. :)

Do you want me to complete those texturing wise or will you release them yourself? The Dorilton is still in progress 10,4k tris at the moment. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to texture the wall panels.

I would be so, so grateful if someone would make more American-style schools, like the ones JBSimio made for SC4 (here).

Request of a simple mod for more realism...
As in NExt, somebody could remove the props on the elevated vanilla roads (manhole covers, fire hydrants, boxes...
:???:)?

I can see if I can add an option to American RoadSigns to remove all roadside 'furniture' (the 'Americanization' of each road sign can be toggled independently, so you could use the mod even if you don't want Americanized road signs) - the only thing is that, as far as I understand, it seems the props are picked at random from a pre-defined list of roadside props which can't be accessed separately (so it's either all or none).

I already make similar apartments, so there is no need to request. Ready 5 buildings, I want to do 5-6 more and then can be uploaded for complete theme.

It is better to look for a building like the Manhasset or Hotel Theresa.

Btw, I recently played in good old GTA 4 and was pleasantly surprised:

To me immediately came a tricky idea but I don't have time to deal with it atm.

It is necessary to fully textured. They're for my NYC/Brooklyn low-rise theme.  But I'm just more interested in high-rise atm.

Hello all,

A modder requests a mod ;).

I want to be able to assign car assets to citizen wealth level. I got pissed of luxury cars being used by uneducated cims and vica versa for highly educated cims. I have subscribed to over 50 passenger car mods so this would really come in handy.  I requested it some time ago on Paradox forums, but it seems those forums are not so popular as ST forums (I haven't visited it since 2012). All details explained here in Paradox forums.

Where are the signs in this game? Every highway in the world has signs to help you navigate to your destination. In Cities: Skylines we are limited to the game default signs on intersections and they look ugly. There are a few custom sign-props available on the workshop and one modification (Mark-a-route: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=649674529) to add custom signs. Unfortunately this modification is buggy and very limited and it looks like the author abandoned the modification.

My great wish: a modification to make and add realistic (highway) signs to your city. Like this one: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=673410575

Now you need to make the signs one by one as a prop: time consuming.

Realism ftw!

I had intended to research what it would take to create such a Mod,  I was told that the Network Skins mod should beable to handle this sort of request but I stopped looking into it after the above mod was posted. Maybe I should again. Another thing I would like is more realistic traffic lights. I'm not sure if the game is sophisticated enough to handle left turn arrows. I was told it was impossible to place the signals on the opposite side of the intersection per boformer, however; atleast a more realistic gantry and signal would be nice instead of the ones that literally look as if they're straight out of a playset.
Here was my initial thread:

I need some Los Angeles / San Diego inspired assets.

I'm not looking for models of existing buildings, especially not iconic ones like the US Bank Tower or anything like that. What I'm looking for are original assets that have that SoCal look and feel, that would seem at home in a SoCal inspired city.

I'm looking for low-rise buildings and the more ordinary fare rather than office towers or high-rise apartments. I'm looking for the types of shops and things you would see while driving along Olympic Boulevard or Slauson Avenue, or the types of low-rise offices you see along Wilshire.

I'm looking for the more mundane fare. Some neighborhood bars. Some laundromats. some veterinarians offices, some generic one or two-story office suites with various eclectic tenants. Some small auto shops. Some cheap motels. A run-down bowling alley with an apartment above. Things like that. Preferably with some bits of the typical graffiti here and there like you see in real life.

In virtually any big city, for every shiny office tower, there are a hundred of these small, ordinary buildings. They're what make a city.

If anyone has designs on putting anything like these on the workshop, please let me know. It will be much appreciated.

Also, they don't need to be growable. I just want them to look good. If they won't fit on a 4x4 plot, I'm more than happy if they're ploppable instead of growable. I'm only interested in aesthetics.
