Epic!

I'm curious as to where I can get that warehouse that juts out into the water.

as always, another amazing entry...there are so many things to look at...the house of lord is superb, the Hitachi and China Mobile are awesome building, the skyscraper jungle is so well organized (not chaotic at all), the road systems looks so efficient...

Again, another amazing entry. Thank you so much for sharing your artistic creations with us.

Awesome!

What building is that in the 7th image that is to the top right of the Lotus building? The kinda blandly-colored tall-ish corner W2W type thing.

-Thanks!

Fantastic updates, Ln x!! This last update I loved this picture, don't know exactly why  :)

Btw, in the end of my Calculus classes, I just learned that I never have new adjectives to describe how much I like your work with MMPs and your cities because how much I like it is going to infinity just like your X

After spending some entries by the sea, I think its time to set more firmly on the land and go back to Townshead. We are travelling to-

The Government Quarter

Thanks for viewing.

Mymyjp: Thanks! I always make sure there are decent gaps in the skyscrapers to ensure the streets can be seen. It's moments like these were I wish we had more than the isometric view.

MushyMushy: That is kellydale2003's Paris Building- Beware of the radiation! It is purely visual radiation which momentarily disappears, so you have to time it for when taking photos.

    NMUSpidey: Thank you!

    __B: Cheers!

v701: Thank you- there is still so much more I have yet to do in SC4 and a lot more to be published in this CJ.

JP Schriefer: I didn't realise admiration could go to infinity.

Update 62: The Steel and Glass canyons of Townshead

With an entry title which paraphrases a little from U2's "The Hands That Built America" we head deeper into Townshead CBD.

These special road passes are something I downloaded from BriPizza, I think traffic even uses the transition lanes. To find them look under the transport section of the BATs on Bripizza.

I'm starting to really enjoy TULEPs and NWM!

The reason I used so many MMPs for the woodland was to cut down on the props I was using when adding fillers. After the San Widge prop pox experience I decided to be more careful with the fillers I plopped in on mass. MMPs don't count as props.

I think, I think, the row of four skyscrapers here is a BAT from Bixel but don't quote me on that. Nevertheless it's a fantastic design.

From now until the end of this year I'll be cranking out the entries, there's going to be one every two days and possibly a bonus one once I have sorted out an SC4 video montage.

    Dear sir/madam/whoever will read this!

    This profile is now defunct.

Computer problems and issues with accessing my Imageshack account meant My SC4 CJ Scrapbook was lost and utterly irretrievable. This setback put me off SC4 for many months.

Apologies for the inconvenience and for the lost pictures.

But that SC4 itch did not go away and it had to be scratched! I have started afresh with a new account here- The British Sausage

The URS is a spiritual successor to the SC4 CJ Scrapbook.

With this update this will be the last time I visit my original Simtropolis account- admin/mods feel free to remove it or do whatever you need to do. I have no further use for the Ln X (BLANKBLANK) account.

Wow, I have missed out on a lot of stuff. Fantastic work!

How did you get trees and plants in the middle of the 6 lane avenues?  These updates are great.  Jealous!

Those are part of of pack, there are a few different variations, so do take the time to read the readme file.

Each two days an update =O I'll have to dedicate myself to read all of them.

Last couple of updates were great! You do big cities and rural shots at the same quality, fantastic!

Looking at your CJ for the first time, I must say I really like your work, and I strongly encourage you to continue and stay with whatever method you're using, since it really seems to work for you (not that you shouldn't experiment, of course). Every update is a feast for the eyes and more importantly depicts a vision of a world I would actually like to live in - mind you, not as much as my own cities, seeing as I've gone all-out utopian and resolute all of a sudden, but your region is on up there on my list.

I'm so disgruntled by how great that looks. You say you didn't focus on design yet it looks so good. I need to seriously study these CJs and figure out how to make good looking cities.

In my experience creating good stuff design is always a concern even if it's at an intuitive and not conscious level. I highly recommend study as a means to improving your game, deep and prolonged study across all websites and eras to be precise, and even of real-life cities and plans to find out what vision motivates you. That approach has worked out very well for me at any rate.

NMUSpidey: I didn't realise SC4 God Mode extended into real life.

In my daydreams I often conjure up a vision of Sargon (from "Return to Tomorrow") saying to Captain Kirk "We became so powerful, we dared to think of ourselves as gods" while explaining what caused the destruction of his civilization. I don't know exactly why I think about that, but suppose if Simcity's god move evolved long enough and the players gained sufficient power...who knows?

This whole page is a spectacular display of buildings and building style. I got quite a bit out of reading what you did with the farms and surrounding areas. I think you've managed to place just about every BAT available to the game! And the relots! THE RELOTS! At least I think I see a bunch of relots. Anyway, That takes talent. Great work.

Patricius Maximus: I'm glad you liked the entries.

    NMUSpidey: Thanks!

slickbg56: I use a lot of BATs and downloaded relots. I have never used the lot editor so there are no relots of my own. Also I add in MMPs, ploppable textures and fillers to extend the footprint of a building.

    Update 65: Ponteville

I'm pretty tired today so I'm just going to post the pictures of Ponteville, a district in Townshead. Enjoy.

What's that diagonal building with the diagonal square road around it?
