Ahh, my palm tree comment strikes again again :/    Sorry man. New project's looking awesome though :)   The base could be a great candidate for a hopefully HD prop pack as well ;)

The roof on the roof of the older building looks... odd. The ridge looks to be crooked. The corrugations seem to be going the wrong way. It also looks a little odd to not have any kind of trim on the seams, though it's probably still a bit early for that.

EDIT: Derp.

Goodness, you are a genius. I haven't visited this thread in a while and suddenly a lot of updates has been made. My gosh, I hope you don't retire from batting until you have batted all the Melbourne buildings. Hahaha. Seriously though, great work. (The last statement seems to be an understatement for me).

Fantastic night lights! :D

Amazing job on the Infinity Tower. It's the perfect building I was looking for to make a city with really tall modern looking condominiums.

Thanks everyone for your comments and help. Here's some nightlights for BankWest, let me know what you think.

I'm just finishing off the Maxis night render for Infinity Tower with palm trees now, and it will be on the STEX tomorrow :)

Ps.. oh yeah.. diagonals are really hard work.. but see how we go :)

Can you make it a functional landmark with CO$$ jobs?

Actually, it's not too difficult to spend a few hours learning the ins and outs of the PIM (Plug-in Manager) and Lot Editor. Not only that, there are plenty of tutorials out there to help you make your own functional landmarks.

And once you've mastered those skills, you will be able to make a building model into whatever lot you wish :)

Yes but it DOES depend on what programs work on someones machine, take me for instance i used to use PIM-X and Lot Editor myself to add jobs ect but after a recent update to windows 7 PIM-X no longer works on my machine at all.

Which means that i can no longer make those changes myself, and have even put a similar request to Declan in the request threads.

I agree with roger about the light's i'd consider switching the lights for the tower itself and the floors at the top around

Dunno about PIM-X (haven't tried recently), but the Lot Editor, LEProp, and iLIve's Reader have accompanied me through three OSes, 32 and 64 bit, desktop and notebook, throughout all the years... it's not that you absolutely need PIM-X anyway. Besides, I suppose the tool is still supported, so you could alert someone over at SC4D to the situation.

True T Wrecks, however over there i have heard that the user who created PIM-X is no longer active in the community so i will do that but i don't like the chances of having the problem fixed.

As for iLive Reader i am probably going to sound like a dumb blond bimbo here,....but i find the Reader absolutely mind boggling and have not figured out how to work the damn thing yet! .

Thanks everyone. I've changed the night window texture to one that has more noticeable strata effect, and I've removed all lighting from the top section. Not sure why it was coming out so bright there and nowhere else, some weird anomaly I couldn't work out, so its gone :)

I've made two versions, the one with the dark blue logo, and one with a whiter logo which is harder to get right but might look a bit more realistic. Let me know what you think :)

It should really have no lights on the signage!!! They haven't worked for a long time (maybe because bankwest moved out!)  But the blue is the correct colour :)

Really nice changes, thanks. Few things, have a bit of signage leakage in the 3rd from left. I think maybe the historical building is a bit bright now.

This is all being really super picky though!!  :ninja:

Blue or white...hmmm..which to choose?   :boggle:   I actually think the lighted sign adds something to it.  Please do not remove.  It looks great though.
