Shame about having to do it over again but that was quick and impressive as always. Will you be adding the Elizabeth St underpass for FSS? :P

Wonderful job!

It reminds me Copan Building by Oscar Niemeyer, in Sao Paulo, but yours is modern of course.

Looks excellent mate  :thumb:

I do think the ground plane needs a little work, those roads looks huge at the moment.

Yeah, its interesting... it's not a ground plane per se, its actual modeled roads. Thinking about what you said though, the roads are scaled correctly but the textures aren't now I think about it. Its actually a double carriage way with a tram line down the middle. I've just textured it as a single road way so that's why it looks so big. Thanks for pointing it out :)

Shriefer, I definitely see the resemblance! I wonder if the design was used as a base...

Thanks everyone else for your comments :)

Very promising new models; I particularly like the Crown Metropol! If you're wanting to make a tram-in-avenue as part of it you'd be more than welcome to use my textures for it.

I haven't made a thorough cross-check against photo reference of the original buildings, but there's one tiny detail about Crown Metropol that caught my eye: The flags on the flagpole look blatantly copied and pasted and seem to be identical in all but their colour.

If I had to pick out anything else, I'd say that the white / light grey texture for that recess with the three support columns below the tech penthouse still looks a bit like solid-coloured geometry to me - maybe the material could be brought out a bit clearer? That's whining on a very, very high level, though. I'd gladly take the building as is. :)

All in all, you continue to make jaws all around drop to the floor! Keep 'em coming!

So, after a break I'm back with following you thread. Seems to be some hard building you got there. That glass must be very tricky. To be honest, I don't like the look of the windows of the two last building. Try experimenting with your ground map. Manipulate it in GIMP, PS or whatever you use and add some more noise the the map itself. I hope it will be worth it.

Amazing model! May I ask how you get so much quality out of reflections? Do you render the building or something? And what programmes do you use? :)

Hi sir. Because of your professional experience and good BAT skills I've decided that it would be fitting for you to make this project.

It's a design proposal to make a tall residential skyscrapers, and on top of them a large community park. The glass panels are very reflective.

This futuristic City in the Sky by Hrama imagines a world where gardens and oases soar far above the congestion and pollution that at times mars magnificent cities such as London and New York. Situated far above the traffic and grit of the city, the stratospheric urban parks are inspired by biomimicry and anchored by enormous towers in the shape of the symbol of purity and cleanliness, the lotus flower.

Someone else's BAT thread is not an appropriate place to make such requests.

Crown Metropol is amazing, and I am eager to see PWC's base take shape. ^_^
