You haven't been to America, not lately, anyway.  We wish it was the Russians. They wouldn't make as much of a mess and at least we could shoot them. *

The trouble with all city-builder games is they are marketed to encourage players to build the big metropolis.  Once new players achieve that, they move on to another game. Us hardcore fans have burnt out on those types of cities and want to take the game in different directions. I enjoy making derelict landscapes, myself. Slums, war zones. I don't even dl big C buildings anymore because they all look alike to me. Big rectangles with windows. If someone likes ketchup on ice cream, you can bet there are a bunch more that do to. If you know what I mean.

Hi!

This is one my first mod project based on T21 exemplars creation and edition whose tutorial was made by @Xyloxadoria. I'm working with @mattb325, @Girafe and @Porkissimo props. The project is consisting on the addition of plants on the median of the NWM AVE-2 for the Uniform Street Lightning mod (a special patch to fix the overlightning problem which i can't find now).

Hey your work looks nice!  I am also working on T21s in relation to the USL.  Im focused on adding lights to intersection pieces, right now just street x road.  Let me know if you've any questions, I'd be happy to share what I've learned.

Dear Wolf, it's not an advice, Just a tiny request, as a big fan of you, could you make the text of the sign more visible, Personally i prefer to see them clearly so that they would make my city more western style.* Maybe it has been good enough, Just about the pixels of picture. then…ignore it. *:DAnyway, hope you don't mind it.

Yours,

Note the time period. Believe it or not, Raymond, there was a time in this country when we were not so "in your face" about everything. We could watch TV with only one commercial every 15 minutes. A football game only took an hour and a half. You could watch a movie without once seeing half a city blow up, a guy flying around in leotards calling himself Super-something, or 4000 product placements. We were sort of considered cultured and tasteful...except by the Europeans, who never give us a break! *

As in, a cherry tree as one of the random options, or a always a cherry tree?

I've cloned T-Wrecks' HD street tree prop family and added the summer cherry tree to it.  May add some other trees as well as the roundabout affords more space than a normal street tile.

Well, i have no idea if Arthur @art128 was referring to Sakura trees, (I got two meanings of cherry from dictionary*:D) That's one of the most memorable occasion in my head when i was in Japan. especially when the time is approaching to April…

NgYi1UL.jpg

Frankly, i haven't got a perfect one in SC4, Yes, Mars and Nob have made great Lots of this tree, but i do hope oneday i could make one by myself, it may look like @Girafe's Ash which has leaves underneath. Likewise, another one is from my favorite Vancouver.

CP has made a very good seasonal props of Cherry trees. Neko also has several props of those.

This is the spring version of the model I used (VIP Cherry)

I picked the summer version because I'm planning to first do all of my T21 modding as evergreen and then convert everything to seasonal later.  I'm hoping I can come up with a way to automate the prop substitution to make it easier.  Anyways, do you know which prop pack contains CP's cherry trees?

It's located in CP Props pack vol 2. Also if you're interested about Neko's cherry trees (which I rather quite like) They're in Neko props pack Volume 1 and Volume 3 *:)

Btw, in case you're interested I've updated the handy NUTs props and texture catalog over at SC4Devotion. This can help you find some props easily and fast. *:thumb:
