Looks like a smaller pebble size maybe? I'd say release both as a pack with either/or install instructions and give people the choice.

To be fair i'm not quite happy with the result of this BAT. Do you members have suggestions what i could do better with this BAT?

I think it looks really promising, even if there's room for improvement. Other users with BAT experience will be able to offer better advice, but there are a few things that pop out to me in terms of textures:

  • The window textures should probably be significantly darker. I know windows are especially tricky textures to get right, but I believe @Jasoncw has some helpful tutorials here.
  • After the windows, I think the roof textures stand out the most. I would guess that you need a bigger texture so that individual shingles/tiles are more visible. I believe this would also reduce the jagged diagonal lines that you're getting (I believe this is a moire pattern, which Jason mentions here).
  • On the other hand, I feel like the texture you're using for the walls might need to be a little bit smaller. Right now, the height of each brick/stone is the same as the windows. I think that's causing a couple of issues: (a) on its own, the brickwork/stonework looks too big, (b) the size of the brickwork makes the windows look unrealistic, since they don't fit naturally into the texture.

Looking forward to how this shapes up!

Not done much today. Just put the taxi rank at the airport. Just an eye candy, of course, since the Sims don't use a taxi ...*;)

My computer shuts down and restarts by itself (I hope my hard drive hasn't died). I'm going to see what computer I can buy with my limited budget ($600). I won't be back for a couple of days.  *:read:

Dear God. Please tell me you've backed up all of your files. Also, try a can of compressed air and blow out your chassis. Dust accumulation can cause heat buildup which may cause your computer to shut down.

Since it's summer in the northern hemisphere I'd suggest a heat ventilation issue. Many machines will do exactly that to protect themselves from overheating and actually prevent physical damage to components this way. As already suggested, cleaning the case of dust buildups can help. I've helped myself before in similar situations by pointing a fan at the exterior of the machine as well, also saving everything every few seconds and leaning to live with it on the hot days. If you're on a portable machine be sure to prop it up onto some small boxes or something so air can circulate underneath it and never ever put it down onto a soft surface when it's running.

Good Lord, what is happening. There's almost no point to it anymore when it looks so much like a satellite image and I mean this as a massive compliment. Your content transcends.

@Barroco Hispano

Not to be the bearer of bad news -- but it might be the Motherboard.

Upside: considerably cheaper than $600.  (I replaced mine early this year for about $120.)

Either way -- GOOD LUCK, my friend.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

I did all of them for a Japan project and never rendered them. What you can find when you clean up your hard drive is amazing ...*;)
