Whoa... I've never even considered such a setup with that roundabout.... I might just have to fire up the virtual machine and check that configuration out.

The roundabout can have eight avenues extending from it, but the diagonal parts of the roundabout can also have roads dragged out too- not sure about one-way roads or NWM. Streets won't drag across though...

@Goldman Sachs

I've been asking someone -- anyone -- to make me one of those for years to use in the game --

But nobody ever seems to get interested enough to follow through on it.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

@The British Sausage : the addition of trees makes those walls ! And I LOVE the idea of dedicated retaining walls with additional drainage. Do they exist or did you conjure them up ?

I conjured them up! Though I suppose they could exist somewhere in the world...

At least it looks pretty.

Working on a new region after i lost my last big project late last year.  I took a new york greyscale and rotated/flipped it and am now slowly building it up.

Lots of small rural centres across tiles, some interconnectivity happening as I feel the need.  Album is here: https://imgur.com/a/fjT8dFU  and main region looks like this so far:

How do you rotate and flip the greyscales?

I just used irfanview to do it. Very simple and straightforward. Then saved and imported to the game as per usual process.

@Gogot  Nice Layout.  There are some nice files available on the STEX that can help you clean up some things in your pictures. May I suggest a Slope mod to smooth out those roads and there is a file to remove the yellow border also.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.
