Sure. It's actually a fairly simple process just extremely time consuming and tedious at times. I've made a tutorial for it before in my CJ but I didn't offer much in the way of an explanation for each step.

Been forever since I opened up the BAT, got lots of unfinished work in there that needs to be done. This one for my South American friends isn't too far away from completion I think I'll try to start with it

Bazel & Mullhouse-Freiburg III !

Bazel is growing steady ! Lot of plops and some more growables. Novartis campus is ready and industrial area are ready !

Old University of Bazel has been established near the city center !

Some lots seem to be plopped at the last moment as it´s dated or there´s no absolute level terrain or what ? This also happens with catenary or powerline pylons weird ; Some view swapping it changes to light blue or returns with some missing elements !

OMG !!! How do you get that amazing luminosity and contrast ? Is it your graphic card and screen ? Or your photoshop mastery ? If the latter, please do share !

Recently @Jasoncw released his newest creation, the Guardian Building from Detroit.  As soon as I downloaded it I went to work finding a place for it in my city and found a nice spot on my waterfront.  The addition of this work of art led to some other changes around this immediate area of Downtown Vancouver. Here are a few before and after shots.

I also owe a bit of gratitude to Jason because after squeezing the Guardian in, it was enough to motivate me to knock out another 4 or so sections of the long uncompleted Waterfront Greenway.  You can see those changes in the before and afters too.

Vancouver's main skyline along Waterfront Boulevard before:

Because of these changes, the first two buildings along the Georgia Street Greenway had to be removed, which necessitated the reconstruction of the first block of the greenway.

To add a bit more variety to the Waterfront Greenway, another Detroit work of art was added to the greenway in front of the new Guardian Building.
The Pylon:

Zoom 6.  I also want to point out the exquisite quality of Jason's HD model for the Guardian.  A literal work of art.  More HD please!

I use GIMP. I increase the overall brightness by 10% to 15%, then I increase the contrast by 30% to 40%. Then I decrease the colour saturation by between 10% to 20% (to ease up on the contrast) and also increase the colour brightness by between 5% to 10% (which brightens a picture since contrast darkens it).

This creates a "vivid" effect to the pictures since the original pictures have a slightly faded quality to them.

Getting close to finishing off Madison Plains.

 

It's so easy to build stuff against Bipin's Industrial roads- must be the tile-wide road textures!

 

And I'm also experimenting with a dulled down vibrant/contrast setting on GIMP- making the textures vibrant and stand out and yet darker too... By that I mean less glare.
