More from my Melbourne inspired downtown.  It tried many different configurations and combinations of buildings for federation square, if I find something to replace the beehive with, I'll use it.  I really like putting the grassy railway embankment pieces up against buildings, it's a cool effect and softens out the very linear/geometric quality of this game. Thanks to RDQ and other for all the cool BATs and things.   Also could someone tell me the name of the beige/creamy sea wall set that uses curves for transitions to diagonals rather than the hard angles of the grey ones in the top right of the picture.   The stanley park sea walls are real pretty, but there are no diagonals :(

Can't post a pic, but just spent 4 hours building tram lines around my CBD - the first time in my 10 years of SC4 that I've used NAM Trams xD

Do you probably mean this? (Quais de Seine) This is a set that at least uses diagonal seawalls and smooth transitions.

Not bad, though, you need to work on the repetition a bit. Isn't it an eyesore to see the same building in one block? :dead:

What about a single tree per island? It looks as if you are going to have most of the space occuied by buildings and skyscrapers. Trees at this place would fresh up the city a little. BTW, good idea with these small islands.

There aren't any particular mods for that image. It is a collection of MMPs and lots that make up that scene. I know for certain that the big excavators comes from a Japanese site and the MMP's are likely from the

Lorient, Tahoma, USA. A gritty industry city, sort of in the style of Cleveland, OH.  :)

I don't know if this is a "BATters only" thread, but if that's the case, I have something too.  ;)

First, a half-finished New York 1940s tileset shop, and a replica of the Wells Fargo tower in Denver, CO, as per request from TitanicBuff. Both models are made in google sketchup 8.  :)

I haven't been BATting for a pretty long while, but I'll get back to it. I just haven't been motivated. Hope you like both city and the BATs.  :thumb:
