With so many BATs available representing so many interesting time periods, I'd love to see what folks have come up with. Whether it is a historic downtown, or a medieval castle, please post your historical creations here. I'll start off with a scene from the American Civil War (1861-1865).

This will be quite interesting! Here is a picture from my last CJ, they are the Ruins of Tenochaneca (The Birthplace of the Gods) It was in built by the Tenochanecan Civilization, which controlled Ancient Ruteria from 100 BC until 250 AD and was partially burned my the Insulonians in the 8th Century.

    Great historic scenes everyone!

Here's a little different take - a .gif that shows the progression over three decades:

The .gif doesn't seem to animate for me  :(     I want to see the progression.  Is this particular gif posting in your latest CJ update?? I didn't notice when I scanned through.

have you tried opening the .gif in a separate window?  Maybe try another browser?  Yep, this is the same as in the recent CJ entry - there are a couple more .gif animations in that entry too.

@ simcoug, that gif is awesome. I love how it shows progression in growth. I feel like thats one area I lack in. I'm not too great at constantly taking pictures to document. Therefore, I have no history. Will you be growing this city up into modern times?

Interesting, seems to be working fine now. Last time I was trying, it didn't move at all, even in another tab. Even in your CJ I didn't notice any of the .gif images. Didn't try in a different browser however.

It's possible the browser did choke up and now that I've re-open the browser set things straight. Hate when I feel like I'm missing out.

Built in 1926 on donated Denton Family land that once were acres of farming industry.  The Dentons resettled in Horizon years ago.  The airport is in the countryside of Peyton County in rolling bustling hillside landscapes.

Built over 1,000 years ago, the ruins of Borobudur remain the world's largest Buddhist monument. More Southeast Asian scenes available in my latest CJ update here.

One of my favorite historic scenes I made during 2016 (not shown yet in a show us thread) - the famous Moai at Rano Raraku, Easter Island. (Special thanks to Simmer2 for sending me these models)

More scenes available in my "South Pacific" update here.
