I was planning on lowering the reflectivity. Currently I'm trying out different metal textures, although many just don't do it for me. I was, however, thinking of making the pieces completely rusty or adding a bit of rust, as this would go especially well with prior projects which this is based off of (those ERHW networks, for instance). Anyways, here are the pieces at zoom five:

8afcd25076e4b7c1f801d8aa116d15d690c12ada

Also note that it is slope-friendly! As for the jagged edges you see on the slopes, don't worry about that. Those are just random buildings I chose to occupy these test pieces. In other news, plan on seeing the roundabout and/or futuristic tower released this coming weekend!  :thumb:

I've been waiting for something like this for so long... :P Nice to see someone finally making it. Looks great, but like RepublicMaster said, could use a little more dull or rusted texture to make it more aged in appearance.

But otherwise, stunning already :thumb:

Not sure if either of you saw Darn42's and my posts a little while back, but essentially I am working on making them rusty. However, the guardrails will not be rusty all the way through, only on sections that would experience a lot of rust; something that has aged an average amount.

Yay, 1,000 reputation points, that's almost a 2:1 ratio for reputation points to posts! :D In other news, thanks for the keen interest in my BATs everyone, I appreciate it. Taking a break from some very monotonous genetic fingerprint sequencing at 2:00 in the morning, I thought I'd post this:

    8afcd250767aa87d97d28d47e13370f2ce16607f

Look closely and you can see that I've added a rustier texture, as well as a displacement map to the stone in order to mimic the correct slope/bumpiness for shoulder gravel. Enjoy!

Thank you very much everyone for the very kind words! Here's another orthographic view:

    8afcd25076721ab5a9bc4c685abc1db8842f6ca1

Now I know it appears quite rusty in this image, but I do quite like it. However, if you don't, it would not be that difficult to make this less rusty in some spots and/or desaturated so it looks less rusty, more like weathered metal.

Would be great if you make some few more pieces to hide the elevated highway columns :D

I've been away for a multitude of reasons, if you're a member of SimPEG or some of the other smaller communities you may know why. In regards to Darknono35, the following items tie in with that. Anyways, here's an update:

    8afcd2507692748e232591cbe3bcf511b11e8f79

There really is something to be said for HD at Zoom 5 in some particular situations.

    8afcd25076ef941316e3defd016910503ee519f9

One would never be able to achieve this degree of detail in the stones; how sharp the spaces between them are, with HD for this kind of scenario

    8afcd25076834b4542f455dd24fe4fdb7e3224e3

I may refine colour and the delineators a bit, but other than that I am pleased with how this is turning out.

    8afcd25076572acca355c1c177402a09d6766b8f

These pictures were taken in the Lot Editor, so this is how the props will look in game. Enjoy!

I want that. Seriously has to be the best highway barriers I've ever seen. It looks exactly like what you'd typically see along RL freeways :O Fantastic work Bipin ;)

And hope you're not feeling too much like you're work isn't appreciated, cause it's the complete opposite from that ;)

Do I see shadows? How did you get shadows to display inside the LE? Back to topic, though: The barriers look spot on IMO! Everything is subtle, yet should complement highways/freeways perfectly. :)

I guess those shadows are on a batted bit T Wrecks. As for the railing, absolutely perfect!

You're correct on both accounts.  :P Thanks for the comment Paulvmonfort and same goes to everyone else! :D

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I really appreciate it! However, I personally don't think I've done the best I can in regards to this model. So with that, I bring you...

    8afcd25076c3fed0fff47c3a95fc6ea2bb87628d

While the other model was nice and all, I feel as though this one would be better suited for areas with skyscrapers or other vibrantly illuminated structures, as they reflections really entail that cacophony of city lights. Since the previous model has already been exported I will, of course, include it as an additional download.

Do pardon me for asking, but have you ever uploaded this one? :)

I think I mentioned it a little while back, but I'm uploading that this weekend, along with the roundabouts a bit later the same weekend.

Due to a friend needing a lift and some roadside help nearly an hour away, I had to miss my deadline. Please forgive me, but keep in mind that I've been working on the roundabouts, tidying them up for release, as well as some more personal projects for other members. You know who you are. ;)

    8afcd25076f686a0fe834ced70b8d8fb4e6ce26d\

In any event, the above 3x3 roundabout will be released tomorrow. Also, it will not be released on Simtropolis but rather Simmania, among other sites possibly. I'd like to help get the other smaller websites more well-known, and I hope my content can help with that.

Looks nice. Just about the brick texture. The contrast between the bricks and the seams make it look unrealistic. It looks too dark grey and not like grout. But I like the idea! :)

I know, it's a bit finicky to work with. However, I was able to fix the issue.

Awsome work, both this and your other projects, which i watch for updates almost daily :P

I downloaded this and couldn't see any external dependencies but every time i plop a piece it shows a brown box. I see one comment mention this aswell, while many others seems to not have any trouble, so maybe there is some "bipin prop pack essential" thingy ive missed out on. I really like the look of these roundabouts and hope someone can help me so i can use these in my cities.

Chetil, try downloading this:  If it works, let me know, as well as if it doesn't work of course. I'm almost certain that what you do need to download is a WMP item.

    1. The screenshot's broken on the upload

    2. A shame there's no LHD version...

    1. Don't blame me, blame Simtropolis. This occurs on many uploads and there isn't anything I can do about it.

    2. Just be patient. I'm not going to make a version that few use compared to RHD when the rendering for one of the 8 props included takes nearly four hours.
