This is another, more complex use of NAM 31's features to create a turbine interchange. It may not look spectacularly new, but notice the multiple levels that are present, as well as the 2-lane ramps that are involved. In the previous RHW versions, this interchange would have had to been far larger than what you see here. As an experienced turbine interchange creator, I know what I'm talking about. Also in previous versions the "spiraling" shape of the interchange was not possible to build. As it is now, it has a beautiful shape:

Although 3-lane ramp interfaces (such as a RHW-10S Type C3 ramp) are lacking in the current RHW version, and won't be viable until the RHW-12S network is created, I'm going to work on creating an interchange with three-lane flyover ramps, assuming I can create a traffic situation where that is necessary. You know, just for the heck of it :P .

To close, yet another three-way/three-level interchange from me, this time a Semi-Directional T with right-hand exits. My first three-level had left-hand exits.

I asked the same thing over at SC4Devotion...but where can I find that guardrail?  Or is it a personal creation?  (If so: share! share! share!)

@Bipin: I want that guardrail too! I also like those overpass ramps!

    Very nice work Bipin!

    Well I finally finished it:

High-Res Pan Of The Highway System (Click for full size!)
    image3026.jpg

The retextured 'jughandle' MIS curves from NAM 31 complete the project. Traffic is starting to use it too. (The unused stretch is used during the evening commute)

EDIT: Central look at the 3-way junction:

Haljackey, did you delete the old BTM?

Yup, replaced it with the new version in the NAM.... Much more compatibility and flexibility compared to APTX's versions.

Thats nuts Haljackey. The interior freeways you have in the first pic, what is there primary function? Is that more intended for hov or is that the main lanes? It seems to me that you have main lanes in the middle and a collector system at the exterior. If that is indeed the case how is that with decreasing conjestion?

Ive been trying for months now to get some type of feeder system but getting inside entrances to work is impossible unless you use 4s and in that case you can't get businesses to face the feeder because obviously it isnt transit enabled. Harder for me because i want to use owr-4 so that limits my options even further. Hmmmmmmmm

Since the exits are so closely spaced together, breaking up the lanes meant I could make more connections and minimize weaving issues.

I don't treat this as a standard 'collector-express' concept as each route has specific exits and connections.

    An example for northbound:

-Outer lanes: exit 1, exit 3, exit onto east-west highway. Entrance ramps from exits 1, 2, and 3 and east-west highway.

-Inner lanes: exit 2, independent from east-west highway junction.

    Southbound:

-Outer lanes: exit 1, exit 3. Entrance ramps from exits 1, 2, and 3.

-Inner lanes: exit onto east-west highway, exit 2, exit 3 (so traffic entering the highway from the east-west highway can access this junction as they can't get to the outer lanes).

    Hope this helps :]

Holy crap, that's an accurate, almost identical reminder of how the I-35 and Sam Rayburn Tollway (Texas 121) came together before they added the flyover ramps back in 2005.

    EXCELLENT rendition, Moonraker!

An Ameropean partial cloverleaf, currently under construction:

    Enjoy!

Well... my jaw hit the floor.

Let me help pick that up for you:

It's a continuous flow superstreet with a Michigan Left setup in case you're wondering.

Cool; I like Michigan Left setups, although mine are usually much simpler with OWR-1 turnarounds.  Nice landscaping in that wide median.

Here's another parclo that's a higher-capacity version of the one I posted earlier.

    127581449-4.jpg

I had to implement a couple of anti-weaving measures, seen to the right of the image, since there's a two-lane entrance near there.

Edit:  kind of copied Bipin's superstreet design in my new suburbs, but this is the T-intersection version of that:

    127582285-4.jpg

Basically exactly like the main entrance to the college I go to.  I'm thinking I'll name it Bay Road just like the arterial there.

While you all are making beautiful interchanges in SC4, this is what I was able to build in SC13 after 'hacking' it to get highways:

A major interchange on the outskirts of one of my cities.

    That's an Oregon-style interchange!

How do you get your BTM to retain its texture when crossing RHW?  Mine won't do that and I have the NAM 31.

Maybe if there's nobody around you can go for a nice daredevil jump :P

Anyways, haven't posted anything lately, so here's an interesting multi-highway and local interchange I built a while ago with NAM v30/RHW v5. Its kinda a mess :P.

I haven't really had too much time to mess with v31 beyond checking for bugs in basic components, but hopefully soon.
