PoliceHQ_Day.jpg

Hi guys! This request goes especially to @mattb325, I really like this building, and I would like ask if you're not interested in release an overhanging version of this lot (and make it a commercial building instead of a police HQ, or still keep it that way perhaps). I like the shape of this building and think it's perfect for fitting diagonal gaps in the cities, however, its 3x3 lot is a challenge sometimes, and I thought that an overhanging version would be very useful for that purpose, and also for fitting on roundabouts. If you're interested, I would really appreciate that. Thanks in advance!

G'day there!

Not sure if the HKABT Team is still around (Bixel, Cockatoo, PaulvMontfort, Simfox & TWrecks).

Here are a few I came across. Would love to see these and a number more on the Hong Kong side of things.

Highcliff & The Summit, Lohas Park Phases, Metro Plaza, The Belchers Towers, The Pavilia Bay & Grand Promenade (to name a few).

Cheers.

Hi guys!

@aldara6166 made a great job back in 2007 with his Modular Amusement Park Pack series, however, it was never further expanded since then and nothing similar was ever released again, and maybe a reboot or another generation of new rides could be very interesting. What about some 1x1 overhanging rides, flexible to fit wherever we want and more fairground oriented than fixed theme parks?

I also miss some rides that never made it to the MAPP back then like these and would really appreciate to see them in SC4:

Kamikaze

I recognised the city by the hills (too many years on the Line 5 to miss them), and couldn't resist the opportunity to request the building just north to this one. I cannot find the name, but it has been there since the 1970s, and its trigonal shape makes sure that every tenant has an unobstructed view and enough sunlight. It can be seen in google maps here: https://www.google.cl/maps/place/Av.+Nueva+Providencia+2206,+Providencia,+Región+Metropolitana/@-33.4224318,-70.6092744,20z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x9662cf68a5d397b7:0x5db71785aa646a29!8m2!3d-33.4222049!4d-70.6093817

image.png.4c676c6c80820e73a9eda1f3956c37cc.png

In the game it would work fantastically to fill triangular blocks or as a prop in a bigger complex, as it is in real life.

Search Bixel's content.  There are dozens of those massive HK style, multiple tower complexes for SC4 out there.

I also have a request.  I'm looking for more urban hospitals, less surface parking/open areas and more building and clinical space.  Give me some urban setbacks and sidewalk frontage.  Let me worry about the parking ;).  These are two new towers that were just constructed at Barnes-Jewish and Children's hospitals in St. Louis.  The Parkview Tower (left) and the Children's Tower (right):

And lastly, the Mid-Campus Center.  Mostly a large office building at the center of the hospital/med school campus.  Sandwiched right up against an active train station:

Would love to see the Al-Iskan Bank Building from Amman, Jordan, in SC4 as a $$ commercial building, its a commercial tower located in the Shmeisani area, near the Dakhiliya roundabout in the Jordanian capital , Amman. The complex is the first air-conditioned commercial complex in the Jordanian capital. It was established in 1982.

Just thought of this because Mattb325 just uploaded a small town community hall in the STEX. Masonic temples are something we see in many towns and cities across North America and I don't think it has been done before for SimCity 4. In the small towns in my area they are usually very simple small little white buildings but in important cities they can be much bigger and interesting building. It would be a nice addition to the reward menu. I showed some examples here.

I recently saw a new Beach set (which I loved, BTW) and I missed a lifeguard tower in a transparent 1x1 lot or even as mayor mode "tree" to put in those coastal landscapes. Since I couldn't find any of them or a similar lot anywhere, could a kind soul make me this favor, please? *;) It could be one like the one found in the original Maxis beach lot, or this blue one seen in this PEG's OWW2 lot:

Thanks in advance!

Here you go @Nathan_spcity. One maxis lifeguard tower on 1x1 transparent lot. Neutral stats, zero to plop and one Simolean to bulldoze. Found in the park menu.
KK LifeGuardTower_Transparent_1x1_2df0c0ee.SC4Lot
Since the prop(tower) does not conform to slops, the prop could visually lift off the ground somewhat along the front(see picture). The flatter the ground is, the better it will look.60e4ebbec9754_Lifeguardtower.jpg.6ad129f83405c4a9bb6f9556170a0c51.jpg60e4ec2d8d46e_Lifeguardtower2.jpg.a632afd3ddd59ae36a7740bb38bee219.jpg

Here could be a fun one to make and real nice to have. It boosts the stations attractiveness to be used in dead times between morning and evening rush hours. In game it could increase the stations close by to be more efficient, have jobs, park, mayor ratting and landmark effect and more or less.
It is a very beautiful plaza.*:ohyes:
Tenri Station Plaza CoFuFun

Source of photos and information below: https://www.architectmagazine.com/project-gallery/tenri-station-plaza-cofufun_o

"Tenri Station Plaza CoFuFun, as Nendo dubbed its scheme, is a supergraphic set of stepped conical pavilions, some upright, some inverted, like retro spinning tops on display. One holds a café, one is an observation deck and stage, and another a play area. Every surface—roof included—is meant to be engaged.
The pavilions’ forms were inspired by kofun, ancient keyhole-shaped imperial tombs made from mounded earth that can be found throughout the area. The circular twist was pure function: “We wanted to make the space accessible from anywhere,” Sato says." Oki Sato is the chief designer and founder of Nendo, the architect.

Habitat 67

800px-Habitat_panorama.jpg

Habitat_67.jpg

Description:

A brutalist, High-Wealth, medium density residential situated in Montréal, Québec, Canada. I usually prefer growable lots, but it probably won't be possible, at least not without going super lot, due to the size of the building. And as there is a street going through the complex (see google maps link provided further), I guess  it would be preferable to BAT this as a functional residential landmark. The street might just be designed as a driveway, though, as it only connects in two points, with the street on front of the complex.

English Wikipeida page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habitat_67

Google Maps link: https://www.google.com/maps/@45.4997289,-73.5438721,18z

Why this would be beneficial for the game or community:

There are very few BATs representing Montréal and/or brutalist buildings, because, truth be told, most of them are utterly ugly. This one is not.
