GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.

The Aluminium Conversion Technology Building looks amazing and well detailed.Looks like it would be perfect to sit right in the middle of a half industrial/ half residential Block like the Loewenthal Building.

And what? You are doing Rowhouses now?

"Shut your corn filled Mouth and take my Earth Money Units!Me demands MOAR Rowhouses!"

No seriously, those look great.A bit weird and a somewhat unfamiliar Style but they look great.Where do your newest Buildings come from?

@Hotwheeler: He's done rowhouses before. *:) Not to mention that much of the bigger stuff is also W2W.

What a cutie that corner building is, though! It looks like the love child of those typical cozy Dutch townhouses (the colours maybe?) and a typical American W2W to me. That factory is pure awesomeness. And there goes another keyboard...

The industrial campus is pure smog producing gold I tell ya!  Can't wait to give my sims cancer when I plop it down next to their neighborhood.  They can thank me for the jobs later.  Activity in this thread makes me giddy.  *:thumb:

Thanks everyone! I've been traveling the last couple weeks, but hope to get back to these this weekend.

@Hotwheeler, @DavidDHetzel, both of these buildings are from Milwaukee, Wisconsin:

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Great work! Watkins looks like a lot of early 20th century office buildings in the Chicago Loop (among other Midwestern and East Coast cities)

There's a deftness and a subtlety to the way you model and texture that I wish I could capture.  Nofunk, you make BAT magic.  I love this new one.

Nofunk's building choices really do have that character.  I mentioned once that his Hoffman Building looked very much like the old Exchange Building in my hometown of San Antonio.  Amusingly, now his Watkins & Sons looks like San Antonio's Robert E. Lee Hotel, both of which I am sure look like many other similarly sized buildings of the period.  Naturally, these are not identical relations, but buildings of these types used fairly standardized parts and easily repeatable designs and were then decorated with the aid of widely distributed trade industry pattern books.  Such buildings may have been commonplace then, but nowadays are becoming more precious to preserve as we have lost the basis and ability to convincingly build them like that.  I just find it funny to walk around my downtown and think, "that could easily be a Nofunk building!"

Thanks again everyone for the kind words and ongoing support. It definitely helps keep me motivated when I run into BATing snags... like right now. Watkins & Sons is done, but I've run into an issue where BAT4Max apparently isn't converting the .fsh files properly, so the past few days I've been trying to figure that out.

Also, the fact that Odainsaker walks through San Antonio and thinks of my BATs is incredibly flattering. *:)
