About This File

This pack contains some sports courts from Loyola Elementary and High School, located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, throughout the years of 2011, 2012 and 2018.

This is the first time I use PIM-X, ILive Reader and LEProp to make custom content, so in case you find any issues, let me know.
Thank you Jasoncw for helping with textures and xxdita with some modding questions I had.

If you like this model and you're able to donate something, I accept donations via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=PCK9XFMPHR758
If you can't, no problem at all, just enjoy it!

@Urban_Shadow thanks for bringing this here. Before I upload them to STEX I tested each one of the files and they didn't show up any problems. Can you give more details about it? Did you just plop one of them and you were not able to bulldoze it anymore? Which one?

Sure, last night I install them while using a couple of mods and bug fixes, the usual stuff, and this happen by just ploping them, so today I tested them again, first I changed the terrain pack and the same thing happened, then I tried again but I removed all mods, so it's the vanilla experience (with the 4gb patch), this is what I found out.

One of the buildings that bugged out was the Big Sport Court 2011, just by ploping it next to another court it disappear right away but the game knows it's there, but if you try to bulldoze it's destroyed by any other means while is bugged, the base will stay there unaffected, you can't bulldoze it, you can't click on it, but it does take up space and you can't build anything on top of it, you can dig a hole underneath it and it won't do a thing, it's just stay there floating in the air piercing the ground all the way to center of the earth.

Here's where I removed everything and tried the vanilla way.

I put a bunch of them next to each other and nothing happened at first, but while zooming in and out I noticed that another building glitched, the Sports Court with Parking 2011 v2, this happened at zoom 3, but if you zoom in again it looks fixed.

While in zoom 3, the building was bugged and I bulldozed it, this cause the court on the left to bug out, it disappear leaving just the base, if you try to bulldoze that court too it will highlight the court on it's left, deleting that one caused the next court to disappear as well.

Then I tried to replicate the same thing on the right side, I deleted a bugged Sport Court with Parking 2011 v2 and the court, this time on the right disappear, selecting it with the query tool, highlights the volley ball court on the right, then a tried to put a plaza next to it but it says it's already occupied.

After some testing I was able to replicate this with the Big Sports Court 2011, turns out if you place it next to another one it will glitch out, but only to the right, when you plop one on the open field the guide arrow points to the north, placing the lot at the east side, in this case, to the right, will make the lot disappear, place another one to the right and it will show as normal, place another one to the right and it will disappear again. If you rotate the building before ploping the same will happen, it's always to the right (or east) of the guide arrow, if you place it anywhere else nothing will happen. Some of the courts can be deleted, but others stay bugged, they won't respond to anything, those tiles are lost even if the terrain changes. If you bulldoze them all at once, they will be deleted, but if you do it one by one, one of the courts will be bugged and it can't be deleted.

@Urban_Shadow thank you very much for checking it and inform me! I'm sorry if this problem caused you some frustration, but it's now fixed. The issue was that I did some immortal lots while editing them on PIM-X. Jasoncw noticed and taught me how to solve it, so now they are all fixed. I also re-exported the distorted court you mentioned, I didn't noticed that, now it looks fine. I changed the volleyball and small sport court icons to show the corner, so I think it's less confusing now. The big sport court (2011) and the courts with parking were also changed.

it didn't caused any problems but it's the first time I've ever seen that, I never knew that such thing as "immortal lots" existed until now XD, I'm using the maxis night one and they work and look amazing, specially at night even if they turn the lights off a little bit early hahahahaha, and thanks for changing the icons it more easy to navigate now, gonna be putting those puppies on my cities now n,n

These sports parks are really similar to those found in Brazil, especially the multi-sports courts, which are very common in public and private areas. Magnificent!
