About This File
For all land lubbers I present Goshwhataplace. A slightly modified region created by the Lanscape Designer (by Greyveil). 93 city tiles of all sizes should occupy region builders for a few months.
This is a game renderable map, and as such you should proceed as follows:
After expanding this .zip file move the contents to a new sub-folder in your Regions folder then start the game.
Navigate to your new region. The game displays the layout from the config.bmp.
Press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+r to start the renderer. The renderer displays a file dialogue box.
Navigate to the Goshwhataplace.jpg file and select it by clicking on the icon on the left. This loads the file name into the selection box.
Press enter. The render starts. THIS CANNOT BE INTERRUPTED, so go for coffee or grab lunch or something. It will take about 45 minutes on an average modern machine. Keep loose nut away from the keyboard and mouse.
When the render finishes you will see the final terrain. Terraform if desired. You may want to add some rivers and streams as you pick up cities, and will certainly want to add flora.
