Rialto Towers, Melbourne, Australia 1.0

That's excellent for a first bat. My only complaints would be the base - in the second picture it looks bland - and the glassy walls which don't reflect much and look like if they were made of plastic. The nightlights are fantastic though!

Wow, great for a first BAT..I'd love for you to open up a BAT thread so people can check out your progress and help you along..would love to see a version 2 of this as the Rialto is both a great building and a hard one to nail the glass..you've done a great job but I think with some tweaking this could be amazing

As someone who is currently living in Melbourne and grew up on 'Trips to t he city' this building was always special to me, I actually felt bad when I found out about the plans to knock it off the top spot of tallest building! Does anyone know where I can find other iconic Melbourne buildings?

Great Job, this bat does look good. I do think you should open up a thread as well. I have also downloaded it and looked at the dat. file in the Reader to check the modding out and I must say you have some experience and it looks of it you have used the Advanced Plugin Manager and the Dat Packer, great choice on that. I think it would be great if it building was a active landmark, I like all my landmarks to be put to use like in real life. One thing I do consider is for you to upload a maxis nite version of this building for the Maxis nite users. 5/5 keep it up and please make a thread.

Now I have not tested it in the game so I could be wrong but to my eyes things looks rather good.

Also please put a link to the SimFox_Day_n_Nite_Modd, to help any new members taht come to STEX, and yes if you have Dark Nite bats you will need the SimFox_Day_n_Nite_Modd.

First BAT, you say? Well, then all I can say is: Hopefully not the last!

IMO you did a pretty grat job on it, both on the model and on the textures. Spectacular night lights, too! I love both the neon strips and the office windows. The rooftops are also very well done. However, I think those arcades at the base are a bit of a letdown - they look untextured, like solid plastics. (this is really complaining on a high level, hehe )

I wish you'd open a BAT thread so you could gather some feedback for those final tweaks, because seeing what you were able to come up with for your first upload, I don't have the slightest doubt that you have more then enough skill to get from freaking great to perfect.

Willing to let him off on technicality here. Torre Santiago is mostly a hotel, whereas Rialto is mostly an office

Thank you everyone, I'm amazed by your encouraging words and offers to help me improve. Yes, I know I let the whole thing down with the base.. I do have (what I think) is a better version but I posted this one because I had problems uploading and this file size is smaller (that problem is solved now!). I will publish v2 incorporating everyone's feedback, and will also open a thread as suggested as I plan to do more Melbourne buildings and your help will be invaluable. (I'm partway through Eureka Tower already).. look out for version 2 of Rialto Towers very soon!
