About This File

I'm sure everyone noticed that the Recycling Center didn't have parking for workers and customers. Well, now it does. No Dependencies. Enjoy!

SO it is just a bigger, messier version of the same lot? Employee parking would be fine but do you really think this place needs 50(!!!) trucks added to it as well? Those vehicles take as much room on the lot as the entire building.

Sorry, not for me.

@nukeu123 it would be more helpful if you didn't have to type texting style, you have a keyboard, use it.

On another note, it would probably be nice if you made the parking wider, trucks are known for wide turning radius.
This file probably overrides the original right?

now now, don't be too harsh on the lad. I actually like most of the current stream of lot's we're getting. This one? could have done with just a tad less trucks but other than that I like it. Heck, I would use this if it weren't for the wall to wall trucks.

My advice? Keep on with this 'better' series stuff. See if you can traffic enable some of the car parks and possibly...get them to act as car parks too.
Also, do you have a BAT/Lotting thread? If not you should get one so that we can help you make these....better better things.

And, I like no dependencies. It makes me feel relieved :P

There is a Forum dedicated to BATs and the such. And do get even better results, try splicing the things you make with content from other sources (assuming you give credit to those you borrow from). There is also an Omnibus that has tutorials if you get stuck. Feel free to ask questions if needed too

Personally i like his Better series ("better" = more realistic in space-use terms). One thing i noticed after getting going with SC4 is a horrible lack of parking in industrial and especially commercial lots. Take a drive in any real city, no matter what size it is, and you'll find the more jobs buildings post, the more parking is designed for the employees. Ditto for shoppers at stores, shops and plazas. SC4 needs much better representation of parking and traffic relationships than what they show in the vanilla version. This i believe is the purpose of the Better series...

Of course with more parking, then you lose valuable land space, the quandary of any city council or county commission.

Keep up the good work, wof2500, and learn all you can about traffic enablement with road and rail vehicles. It will make your lots even .... Betterer!

Well, as I said in his strictly parking lot upload, you don't need to modify every lot in the game when you have independent, modular lots that can accomplish the exact same thing. He made his own files obsolete by making those simple 1x1 lots.

Err, this is banging my head on the wall. If you got rid of the thousands of trucks on the lot and replaced them with other trucks(the euro truck pack!) or at least fixed it in a more realistic manner. In addition, you may as well have packed all the lots you have into one large zip file with appropiate photos too. Also, you may want to visit some lotter's management of props and deps ( https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/files/file/25834-main-railway-station-by-logan123456/ ). No formal review for stars.

Cheers and good luck :)
