This is another lazy, but effective, overhanging relot of Maxis' R$ high-rise, Project Feelgood. Here it is, standing alone for your planning convenience!
This version can overhang diagonals, roads, pedmalls, and anything else you throw at it. This makes it easier to create the kinds of complexes these buildings are in, in real life.
Find your inner-Corbusier --- and radiate your city! With no need for roads, create a vibrant urban landscape, like Stuyvesant Town or Parkchester. The design is up to you.
Project Feelgood is visually similar to the real-life NYCHA Monroe Houses in the Bronx. I'm not sure if that's the complex that inspired Maxis' rendition, but it is a dead ringer for the houses. It definitely evokes the style of large-scale public housing developments in the US of the post-war era.
This is an eyecandy landmark with neutered stats to minimize effects on budget and resources.
Only dependency is bldgs as props for the Maxis building.
