About This File

The old castle has finally been renovated and serves now as a museum to boost the education or as a plain landmark to boost the Mayour's ego... ahm... rating. It comes together with a highly variable set of items to build park pathways and small pocket parks, or for walkways between wealthy residential compounds - all very attractive with lots of flowers and decor appealing to residents and tourists like.

LIST OF ITEMS

  • 5x3 Small Castle (Museum and Landmark versions)
  • 2x2 Chess Plaza
  • 1x1 Wide Paths (straight, curve, tee, cross)
  • 1x1 Narrow Paths (straight, curve, tee, cross, transition)
  • 1x1 Wide Paths with Lattice Wall (straight)
  • 1x1 Ends and Fillers (variety)

DEPENDENCIES

DEVELOPER NOTES

You can use this set to build park pathways and small pocket parks, or for walkways between residential compounds, e.g. open spaces between mid- or highrise buildings.

The sections with higher lattice fences provide more privacy, e.g. along RES$$$.

Try and alternate sections with and without lamps for better variation.

Some items provide landmark benefits, but mostly they are neutral and easy to maintain. Find more specs and stats in the in-game menu.

All items are at or near the end of the 'Landmarks' menu, except the Museum which is of course in the 'Civics | Education' menu, all with custom icons.

INSTALLATION

Just drop the whole bundle in your Plugins. You may also opt to install only certain items - remove the ones you do not wish to use. To un-install remove the complete folder from your Plugins.

also, where did you get the sidewalk pieces in your third pic, with the new sandstone textures around the NAM road curves? I only have that for the old sandstone textures.. Have these been released yet?

This didn't work for me. :/ I downloaded all the dependencies but when I go to place the castle in my city is just looks like a big box... :/ Why?

This is so frustrating because this is perfect for my needs...
