About This File
PEG-SPAM Traffic MOD (AddOn / Patch)
- The addon is NOT part of the 'Full SPAM Mod'.
- It is NOT installed 'automatically' with either the full SPAM or any of its components and addons.
- It is a separate, standalone download.
- It is entirely your decision whether you want to experiment with it or not.
The PEG-SPAM_Traffic_MOD alters the behavior of the game's commute traffic as well as that of the visual automata. Here an overview of the key features:
- SPAM farms are much less susceptible to local traffic congestion, all traffic congestion is reduced in a realistic manner.
- Morning and evening commutes are more spread out. Farming is not an 8-5 type job, so the morning rush hour traffic starts several hours earlier and last a bit longer, to ease up on congestion.
- Freight trucks and trains now roll 24-7 as they do in the real world.
- The amount of freight truck automata generated by industry lots has been reduced, so your roads will not appear to be as overcrowded with trucks.
- The number of car accidents as well as the duration of the animation are reduced.

CHANGES
The two exemplars ('automata-tuning' and 'traffic-simulator') are now shipped in two separate files, so in case of any conflicts with other traffic mods you have additional choices for trouble-shooting.

DEPENDENCIES
There are no direct dependencies - however, this mod is designed to be used together with the SIMPEG AGRICULTURAL MOD (SPAM).
Installation
By default this Mod will install into the folder 'zzz_PEG_Facelift_Mods'. This is to ensure that it loads after other and maybe similar content.
DEVELOPER NOTES
The PEG-SPAM_Traffic_MOD file uses modified game files that may be used by other mods. If so, which ever mod is read in last by the game when it loads, will over-write all other mods that use the same game-default files. If you are not seeing the desired affect from the Traffic MOD, make sure it does load *after* all other similar mods.
If the mod conflicts with another mod that you would prefer to use, simply remove the Traffic MOD file completely from your Plugins folder. This will not impact on any of the other SPAM components.

All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
