Helicopter sound silencer 1.0

I know you can't really have an ingame pic for something like this, but you should at least have a pic of something relevant to the game. Like maybe a chopper or a cop car. But the file appears to be valid.

Welawlilly, if you don't mind the sound, why are you even commenting on this? At least try to say some constructive criticism, or just go on to the next mod in the list. This seems useful as the sound is annoying if you're trying to listen to music in-game with the sounds on.

I wouldn't use it, but 3/5 for effort.

What a good idea! I just installed it and played the game a few minutes to test it and enjoyed the game without that pesky (at least for me) helicopter sound! Thank you so much!

I might try it. It wasn't a problem for me until I built my large train station. It's like they're following me everywhere with their spotlights!!!

Ooooh, this is one of those mods I have never even thought of, but now that it#s here, I wonder why nobody has made it before. That helicopter sound really gets on my nerves at times, for example when I'm in pause mode, trying to concentrate on building something, and that sound and the stupid light cone are distracting me. Thanks a bunch!

I got rid of my SC4 game so I only use CXL now... the helicopter sound bothered me so crazy!! I would download this if I still had SC4

I second that, T Wrecks. It's such a simple mod that you wonder why this is not made before. The helicopter sound didn't really annoy me, but turning this sound of is also OK. The sound was a bit too loud compared to other noises.

maybe can we get a zoom in of the helicopter? I am really pretty stupid and would rather like to see a picture of perhaps some sound waves being canceled out or something too. I can barely tell by the description what this actually does. thanks

Finally - something to silence those annoying helicopter sounds. They were driving me nuts so bad that I actually downgraded from a Deluxe Police Station to a regular large one, and temporarily demolished my TV studio while I had the game paused for construction purposes. Thanks for creating this.
