There seems to be a glitch in SimCity 4 where if there is an active helicopter, the camera when zooming in will zoom into it... any way to fix this, or is this something I'll have to deal with?

Hi! This is my first modification which have: - retextured FD Heli for Japan Fire Department, PD Heli for Tokyo Police Department, Simnews Heli for TV Tokyo - replaced model of small jet for big jumbo jet with Japan Airlines logo. (for muncipal airport) What do you need is just put files and paste them into SimCityData folder. BUGS: - only with jumbo jet, as you know he is too big for that airport so his wings is little inside buldings but don't worry, just find more place and bulid second lane for planes, destroy first one and enjoy completely new system of transport. I hope you enjoy. -
Player viewpoint following police helicopter?

Recently I'm having an annoyance regarding police helicopters. Sometimes when I change the zoom level, I suddenly change position to somewhere else - that is, where a police helicopter is hovering above the city blocks. If I don't do anything while on this rather irritating 'mode', the point-of-view follows the police helicopter and the lights. Is this a bug, or some kind of secret function that I activated by accident? Because I don't want to navigate the whole tile right across just because a chopper is on the other side of where I was working on..... Anybody heard of this? Any tips would be nice. Thanks in advance! -

In the battle for tomorrow, there are often many challenges which must be overcome. Many times in war, the terrain has been a deciding factor in the final outcome. In a treacherous setting with steep mountains, winding valleys and dense foliage it can be very difficult to move units to the next rally point. Until now, the UH-1 Iroquois also known as the Huey can bypass even the most dangerous trails by air, cutting down travel time and proving to be a very resilient chopper in both cargo and frontline duties. About the upload: This file is a replacement of the Maxis Attack Helicopter. It will appear at the Army Base. Need a helicopter that will take out anything that moves and horrify your targets doing so? Russia has an answer to that- the Kamov KA-50! Also known as the Black Shark, this beast will stop a convoy cold and make the generals in neighbouring countries lose sleep at night. So get out there and show the enemy who's the boss around here! About the file- This file is meant to add the KA-50 as a replacement for the Attack Helicopter. It will spawn at the Army Base or other lot which spawns the Attack Helicopter. Dependencies? None required. This model was made using an unfinished model which I downloaded from TF3DM (courtesy of Makrushin Andrey) then textured and converted for use as automata. FANTA1990 Presents: A much needed facelift for all three municipal helicopters inspired by designs from Emergency 4 (aka 911). The Police Chopper brandishes a blue and white paint job with matching decals and a gyrating inset tail rotor. The Medical Helicopter gleams with two-tone emergency orange markings and bold black insignia on the either side. The News Helicopter boasts a red, white, and blue pattern with inset tail rotor and elaborate emblems. Each bird features exquisite detail including wider blades, distinguishing runners, and tinted windows. Since this is essentially an automata reskin, there are no dependencies and no configuration is required. It's an easy way to improve the realism and appearance of the game's otherwise mostly siloughetted renditions. Choose from the following two files: Emergency4 helicoper.rar - Uses HD textures, but requires Hardware Acceleration to avoid visual defects.
