About This File

Here is the second pack of lots in the Industrial Lot Project! This pack contains 6 ID growable lots for your cities. They are designed to be detailed, interesting and functional working buildings. This means they provide jobs and (of course) pollution! They are all unique in their own way and all of them have been made without Maxis buildings! There are a variety of sizes and growth stages. Here are the pictures, contents, and information of the pack:

Full stats are in the readme

25/12/10 Update: Fixed an issue where the lots wouldn't build on slopes correctly. This was because the foundation threshold value was too high. Please re-download to fix the problem.

Petroleum Transfer Plant

The petroleum transfer plant stores fuel for tankers to collect and deliver to gas stations. It is quite a modern industrial building that is vital for the economy of cities. The 6 tanks each have a capacity of 500 litres (3000 litres plant capacity). Workers here have to work around the clock to constantly monitor the pressure and maintain each tank. It is a stage 3 lot that provides 45 jobs, and very low pollution.

Processing Mill

The processing mill processes all kinds of things (the name figures). It has two main buildings and a conveyor belt to load things into the mill.

It is a stage 2 lot that provides 68 jobs, and moderate pollution.

Fuel Processing Unit

The fuel processing plant is works like the petroleum transfer plant (owned by the same company). The only difference is this one processes and filters the fuel to make it a higher quality. It is a stage 2 lot that provides 16 jobs, and very low pollution.

Amphoteric Liquid Tank

This is a tank that stores amphoteric liquid (a substance that can react as either an acid or base). It has a large perimeter to ensure that and leakage is safely contained. The liquid is then pumped underground in pipes to the plant. It is a stage 2 lot that provides 18 jobs, and very low pollution.

Small Factory

The small factory is basically a factory that produces small miscellaneous products. Its chimney doesn’t go down very well with the environmental advisor!  It is a stage 1 lot that provides 15 jobs, and moderate pollution.

Shed

This is a simple boring shed (haven’t I saved the best to last!). It stores a small amount of crates and barrels under its dull and slimy asbestos roof. It is so basic that the owner couldn’t even afford a front fence! It is a nice filler stage 1 lot that provides 8 jobs, and low pollution.

I hope you enjoy the Industrial Lot Project - ID Pack 2

Will work as fillers. Not too spectacular on their own, but should do well with your other works. I'm still waiting for some W2W industrials =P

This is highly commendable - anyone who sits down with the intent to create more variety in industry for this game should be applauded. Well worth the download and getting those dependencies! I don't download lots often, but these are must-haves...

Wow, another good job from you. I'm really glad that you keep sharing your lots with us. You did a great job at creating something useful, realistic, and well designed. The lots are absolutely credible, no-frills structures that play their role perfectly and don't stand out disproportionately. You also took the time to prepare a thorough description and good in-game screenshots - there's really nothing to complain!

I agree with the consensus here- good, well prepared re-lots are difficult to find on the exchanges these days, and, for the uploader's part, very difficult to pull off. 5/5 here- well done!

Your industry lots are very well designed however now i'm having issues with only them that say they are not watered when all the other industrials surrounding them are watered . They cant still say full or near full employment but i wonder if thats because I dat packed them 1 2 & 3 into one condensed dat pack. Maybe they shouldn't all be packed together? Help please.

that last statement should read they can have full employment even though they wont display the water query. They dont need water though as no tear drop above but its just annoying as it worked once with an ep1 install but now its not working. Its not displaying for me and my settings properly what dependency is this related to or conflict please?

*WARNING* These lots have unrealistically skyrocketed the garbage production of my cities. Do not download oy you'll get even the largest landfill full.
