The Hong Kong/ Asia BAT Team Presents…

Majestic Hotel

Model, Modding / Lotting, Custom Menu Icons & Readme – Cockatoo.

Overview:  The Majestic is a mid-rise hotel located In the Jordan District of the Kowloon Peninsular in Hong Kong. I’ve stayed there a few times, it’s a nice place, not what you’d expect from that part of town.

Unfortunately there are some issues with the night-lighting on zoom’s 1, 2 & 3. The roof appears brightly illuminated on these zoom levels while not on the two closest. This was just Gmax playing silly buggers during the render, there’s nothing that can be done, but luckily the lighting can only be fully appreciated from zoom’s 4 and 5 anyway.

This download is a near accurate representation of the real life building for SC4.

These lots were made with the X_Tool, so they don’t give you smart ass remarks if you try to delete them.

  • Growable Stage 7 CS§§ providing 1949 medium wealth jobs.

BRILLIANT! (I'm not talking about the lighted roof which is really no big deal). I love the base and nightlights are perfect. HAO GE MEN!

Lovely building once again. My downtown area will love it. Nightlighting is done wonderfully and I love the brownish-red texture color. Will make it stand out.Shops at the bottom are fantastic

This is amazing. I'm downloading it right away. Talking about that, I've noticed that downloading from SIMtropolis is taking way to long these days. Are you folks also having this problem?

Not bad. There are some great little details on this one. The glass on the upper stories is the only thing I can fault it on. Great work.

This hotel is now rebranded as the Novotel. So glad more HK hotels are being done, with Bixel's Mandarin Oriental and this one. While you are doing Jordan, will you also bat the Eaton located very close to Majestic, which also have eye catching colours? Or other hotels like Excelsior or Metropark Hong Kong Causeway Bay?

Forget to rate! I will be easy on you for the big fans and give 10/10 since everything else are wonderful and I do not care about the minor night-lighting glitches.
