About This File

At last, some quaint industries! You can now provide industrial (dirty or manufacturing) jobs for your rural area without building huge ugly factories.

Lime burning is an ancient industry, and quicklime is used in the production of pottery, glass and paints. The lot contains three kilns to burn the limestone, and a shed where the lime is slaked. This BAT is actually based on a real building in the Netherlands.

The lot is a ploppable RCI, on a 3x2 lot. Two versions of the lot are included. The dirty and manufacturing versions look exactly the same, but have a different smokestack prop. There are no dependencies.

A special thanks for using realistic specifications (my biggest problem with downloading lots.) It looks and works great in my towns. Kudos 5/5

Excellent, excellent, excellent! The "dirty industry" version is so helpful in getting towns and villages started without having to deal with ill-suited modern buildings. These kilns are star players in my towns!
