About This File

This is my 1st lot! So go easy on me.

The Launch Arcology from SimCity 2000 is back! Well at least as a landmark. In a failed attempt to make a plopable R$$$ I decided to release this as a landmark at least.

The arcology has a very positive effect upon your city. It is also environmentally friendly, except for trash. This sucker producers trash like tomorrow and will cost you a pretty price to place.

Lot Cost: $200,000

Bulldoze Cost: $2,000

Disclaimer: Launch Arcology will not actually launch. Even if you place 350 of them.

BAT and Lot are included in the download.

Well yes, but it doesn't look so similar. I understand of course that it would be very difficult for this sc2 building to be made into 2D. Now about this, I like the way it glows (the roof), and the textures, but the lot is too big (hence lame) and the plop cost is way to exaggerated. Overal 8/10

That was my favorite building from SC2000. you did an allright job just lacks some of the best details from th old SC2000 version. I'll wait for a version 2 cause i think that you are probly still thinking about doing some more detail. 9/10

The SC2000 one looks like it has to visit a restroom. I think working just a bit more on the lot would improve this a lot...if you spiffed it up a bit, I'd certainly put it in my capital city as a sign that it's in the big (and expensive) league.

its cool, but i dont think it looks anything like the sc2k one, alot more modeling and textures are needed if you are going for that look, update this one, this could be cool if they are brought back!!

hm.. a very nice start in deed, but, to be honest, it needs a lot of more details and some (major) remodelling here and there... but nevertheless a nice approach to what the launch arcology looks like

There's supposed to be a few trees on the bottom. Also, if you added more details this arco would be superb. Great work though.

I like this version, but there is a Japanese BATter who made this look a lot like the SC2K version. However, this one looks more like an Industrial version of it.
