Just plain wierd! After being shipped across the border in one of them, why would someone want to live in such a container? (Ok, the homeless...)

I've read about this concept/idea in real life. Frankly, I'll keep my single detached two storey dwelling, but these types of buildings have their place in bigger cities, especially to provide affordable housing for lower income citizens. Still, at the end of the day, you're living in a crate!

I've heard about this too--they say there are thousands and thousands of discarded shipping containers in California (and I think if I had financial trouble, I'd rather live in a converted container than under a bridge). I don't think I'll use this in my cities, but it's a great and cutting-edge idea.

i think they are great but i would prefer it if they were alittle more dingy in the colours.... just a bit darker and grubbier... funnily enough BLaM are working one something similair.. hehe ach well great release 8/10

Props to you my friend. We could never have enough "smart" recycled and environmentally friendly buildings here or in the real world. Thanks so much for bringing this fairly progressive and still fresh idea of reusing shipping containers for buildings.
