im not sure how you find this unrealistic? In utah it is common that the rail doesnt go into a big loop, the train simply switches track and direction. This is awesome and much needed, as trains can't change direction in game. Thanks fr the contribution to my cities.

the trains just reverse and change to a differant rrack at the points or in many countries there is a cab at both ends

Usefull tough highly unreaistic. Maybe someone should develop a mod to place a forward or reverse function on the trains and add a second engine car to the back on the train. i would if i could but i'm still learning BAT
