NIMBY Collection 1 1.01

They don't put naked porn posters on the outside of the building, and "Queer Steer" is a nice name for a "gay bar". There are a lot of real bars with far worse names. This one is a nice "middle of the road" name that tells what it is. I like it.

I don't really get all the hub-bub about these lots. Its just the outside of the building, things you can see in any city in the world. Any 5 year old driving through the downtown corridor in any city in mom and dad's SUV will be subjected to these types of businesses..you can't escape them.

Like the description said, don't download them if you find them unuseful or offensive.

As far as tattoo parlors being NIMBY lots...absolutely! Have you actually frequented one of these businesses? The crowd that "hangs out" in these places is usually seen as "trashy" by the moral majority...that'd be Dev. ;)

I have been a stripper in my 20's, managed an adult bookstore in my 30's, and am a lesbian single mother on top of that. Welcome to LIFE! Thank you simGoober for having the intestinal fortitude to create the "real" part of the city.

The comment about teaching children hatred of life (abortion and homosexuality) is great too. Why does every right wing christian think they are 100% right all of the time? What makes them think they have the right to judge every one who is "beneath" them(heathens and deviants)?

This is a game...play it and enjoy it. You even have the option to ignore certain parts of it that you don't like. Get over yourselves and move on!!!

1548 : This set has had a minor update to correct some BTE codes. Any new lots that grow will have these corrections.

there is only one city I know of that has no adult businesses. Zephyrhills Florida. And of course, thats where I live :( Mabey dev should move out here, but you better hurry, real estate prices are only going up round these parts.

I love the grungy stuff you make, SG. This gets a 10+, although I may take out the nimby values, as normal growables don't have that. It might be unbalancing, otherwise.

Awww being a big queer myself, I can't wait to download these. I also don't understand all the crap about these lots. When did sex, tattoos and the like become such an atrocity. This is SimCity for the love of God...I can go to any big city and find atleast one adult shop. Grow up and get laid! :)

Great set. All cities have them and its nice to see them in SimCity. However, i wish they didn't develop quite as frequent. These buildings totally take over the C$ market. Because of that, I only give it 7 stars. How might I lower the frequency that these appear?
