  1. bat Diego Del Llano Models 2022-23-24

Does this pack include BATs not yet released individually?
  2. Coming Soon: Los Angeles

Thanks! Hard to believe my last CJ entry was 10 years ago!
  3. Photo editing in GIMP

This is certainly useful, but the one I remember was GIMP-specific. Covered use of lens flares etc. I'm wondering if it was part of a CJ entry or something? Or maybe on SC4Devotion.
  4. NAM General Support

Thanks! After reading the visible automata info am i correct in thinking I want the Radical option? I am wanting the most automata visible as possible, just like SoCal has!
  5. Part 1.1: Big Changes in not so Little Hiver

After all these years Rivit's mods still stand the test of time! Great city you are building here.
  6. There used to be a great tutorial on photo editing in GIMP on this site, I don't remember if it was a separate post or contained in a CJ entry. Despite searching for it I can't find it, I'm wondering if anyone knows where it is located? I remember it had a lot of useful advice around contrast, saturation, sharpening, etc. I've been away from making City Journals for so long I've forgotten a lot of my old tricks!
  7. NAM General Support

Thank you both for your help, I have the new NAM working now. One query, I am recreating Los Angeles and am thinking I need the heaviest traffic possible, which setting should I select during NAM installation to recreate SoCal traffic?
  8. NAM General Support

Which one of these is the .exe file?
  9. HSBC Tower

I was just in Auckland last week and saw this building. This recreation is awesome!
  10. NAM General Support

After being away from the game for the last four years I decided to install NAM 48 but couldn't get it to work. I decided to simply remove the newly installed NAM and put whatever version of NAM I had back in the Plugins folder. Unfortunately I seem to have done something as now when I load a city many of my streets and roads are missing and some RHW networks have green and blue squares over them. I was hoping I could just go back to how things were but I seem to now have a problem. Update: I fixed the problem, for whatever reason a whole bunch of files went missing from my previous NAM folder while I was switching things back and forth - not sure how that happened! I wouldn't mind figuring out why NAM 48 causes my game to CTD when opening a city, I have read everything but am probably misunderstanding something.
  11. So, I bought the game from GOG. When I downloaded it automatically downloaded a whole bunch of files from my computer which seemed to bring the game up to date with where I left off 4 years ago. One question though, where in my computer are all the Plugins, Dependencies, Mods, etc? Are they all saved in a cloud somewhere? When I look in the program files on my computer I see everything GOG is added but the Plugins folder is empty? How do I access my existing plugins and how do I add new ones? Edit: Is GOG in fact syncing with my OneDrive? I took a new in-game photo and it seemed to save to the Albums Folder in my OneDrive SC4 Files. Is this where I also adjust plugins, mods, etc?
  12. Thanks for this. Is there anything I need to know in terms of compatibility with the latest versions of Windows? Do things like Lot Editor still function?
  13. If I buy SC4 from here will I have all functionality? https://www.ea.com/games/SimCity/SimCity-4 I haven't played the game in about 5 years so I feel really out of the loop. I used to have the game digitally through Origin by using a code from my CD but does Origin not exist anymore? I don't see the game available for download in my EA account.
  14. Kodebo - Los Angeles City Hall

I waited years for this to appear! Perhaps this is a sign I need to return to SC4?!
