Howdy friends, So I found this file for a vessel TSS Lorina. In the description, it says its a ploppable item. Even over water. I figured like a park lot or something. However, I don't think it is because when I unzip and drop into the Plugins, it's just a solitary file. It doesn't show any other files like a lot file or anything. Instructions say to just unzip the file and place in Plugins. It doesn't show up in gameplay. It's not in any of the mayor menus. I tried to look it up in Lot Editor but it's not there either so I don't think it's a lot file. What sort of file is this? How do I get this item to work in gameplay? I feel kinda dumb but I'm stumped! lol

Okay, I installed the Lot editor and I opened it (took it awhile to load, But it loaded), exited out and when I came back to it, It crashed to DT while loading. I thought it might me a plugin I installed so I emptied out my plugins folder (both of them) but it still crashes can some one help. If you need computer specs just let me know and I will try to provide all that you ask for.

This is a general (and desperate) call to anyone who would be willing to download the park and its deps (or happens to have it already), and also uses the LotEditor. I can't open the file in the L.E. . Neither the co-lotter, rivit, nor I can figure out why. I'm told "uses stuff not installed on machine" but we've verified, at length, that I have all the deps.

I suddenly don't have access to the Save-As function in the LotEditor. I had it yesterday. I didn't do anything to the L.E. except open it. What is happening ? Is it (again and I wouldn't know why) a problem with “authorizations” ? EDIT : Solved : "Execute as Administrator" :-))))

Hey guys, I am doing some modifications to RRP Draggable Paths ChrisAdamas3997 so the ALN_0220_Dirt Path.dat and ALN_0226_Cement Path.dat show up in the PROP list in LE. Here is what I have done so far: 1. Changed the "Exemplar Type" parameter from FLORA to PROP for the ALN_0220_Dirt Path.dat (Now it is showing up in the PROP list in LE). 2. Repeated the step 1 for the ALN_0226_Cement Path.dat (It did not show up in the PROP list in LE). 3. Reviewed each parameters for the ALN_0226_Cement Path.dat and they all look the same as the ALN_0220_Dirt Path.dat parameters. 4. Made a copy of ALN_0220_Dirt Path.dat and deleted all files contained in the dat. Used this empty dat to create a new dat for ALN_0226_Cement Path.dat - all parameters from the original ALN_0226_Cement Path.dat were copied into the new dat (Now it is showing up in the PROP list in LE). My conclusion is that I am not able to edit something with iLive Reader. Why doing the step 4 seems to resolve my issue?

(sorry if bad english i'm french) I wanted to create a 1x1 tile building (same properties as maxis international airport) to make my RMIP eye-candy airport become "real" airport I tried to do it in LotEditor but i can't reduce the size of the lot (maybe because maxis airport is upgradable ...) I don't know much thins about modding ,etc. so someone can help me ? Thanks.

First attempts at creating a Functional Landmark.

I'm trying to convert the Burj Dubai Landmark lot into a functional landmark, Even though I've had previous success turning the Launch Arco landmark into a HT ploppable I keep coming up against a brick wall with this project. For some reason my lot goes through the motions of building and the query window shows the capacity satisfied exemplars have worked but the props don't show up when construction is completed. Because the Burj is very tall instead of a building it is made up of a number of props on top of a tiny building placeholder. Does anyone know which exemplar I've messed up? I'm using SC4Tool to try to find out where I went wrong by comparing similar buildings and their values but I am stumped. I've attached the image below to give an idea of the problem. The blank lots are two separate attempts to create a functional Burj.- 3 Replies
