Grutz Industrial Park Maxis DLC Relots https://community.simtropolis.com/sc4-maxis-files/ "Grutz" has multiple meanings. It can refer to a topographic name for someone living near a pine forest, derived from the German word "Grotz" meaning "pine forest". South German: (Bavaria) The Industrial park is surrounded by Maxis pine trees to reflect the location. In this relot package the Grutz Haus is imagined as a vistor center and coffee shop for the Grutz Industrial Park. It's likely that this building was originally intended to be a growable Dirty Industrial lot. This is the parts manufacturing plant for Grutz products. First attempts at creating a Functional Landmark.

I'm trying to convert the Burj Dubai Landmark lot into a functional landmark, Even though I've had previous success turning the Launch Arco landmark into a HT ploppable I keep coming up against a brick wall with this project. For some reason my lot goes through the motions of building and the query window shows the capacity satisfied exemplars have worked but the props don't show up when construction is completed. Because the Burj is very tall instead of a building it is made up of a number of props on top of a tiny building placeholder. Does anyone know which exemplar I've messed up? I'm using SC4Tool to try to find out where I went wrong by comparing similar buildings and their values but I am stumped. I've attached the image below to give an idea of the problem. The blank lots are two separate attempts to create a functional Burj.- 3 Replies
