  1. Corvis Province, Haelle

News-person And as of September, the residents of Corvis can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as the local authority lifted the Status of Emergency in the city. Following a massive blaze that engulfed much of a future construction in the city, known as Project Green. The corporation behind the project, Eden Initiative, have yet to release a statement on the nature of the project or even total damages that ensued. The fire office and commissioners administration however estimated damages to the city as a result, to venture upwards into the billions. The Fire Marshal's may possibly have found there to indeed be a substantial loss of life as well. Interesting stuff indeed.. Now to you dan... -- -- -- Welcome to the vestiges of Corvis, Haelle. The newsreel up there is actually a broadcast two decades before Matt ever found himself venturing into this city. Somewhat of a mysterious place, no one wants to talk about the Catastrophe of '87. An absolutely terrifying blaze that engulfed an area to later be known as Nature's Edge; an immense multifaceted, half zoo half community park. Sponsored and pioneered by an organisation at the time known as Eden Initiative. Matt did find out that whatever did cause and happen in fire would be the reason Eden later filed for bankruptcy and was "dissolved", and by order of the Federal Government no less. Peculiar, most peculiar. Regardless, Corvis had quite a few vantage points from which to capture some amazing shots. T-that is a moon, right? Right?!
  2. Serenia Island: It Rained the Whole Time

(Set the scene in a coffee shop, with a light drizzle outside) Matt: "I never imagined it would get quite so dark, quite so quickly on around here." Unknown: "Yeah, haha, Serenia Island is really peculiar like that. But ya know, I like to think of it as, not paying attention to the time when you're having a good time." *Sips drink* "... ah, so you were saying? You travel?" -- -- -- Welcome to Serenia Island, an interesting anomaly of a city in the west tropics. It features many interesting sites such as Parker's Circle, as depicted.. at night. Through a rainy window. G-good job Matt. Anyway, Serenia Island is special and despite the constant rainy days, the residents do get days of sunshine to go out and stretch their legs in. The Island also features a massive statue, a joint project between several nations and organisations. One of my first projects circa 2016. So an exceedingly old city, and a simpler time, when graphics were of no real concern. Serenia Island is one of many with a similar namesake, not to be confused with Serennia the state, or Serenia a landlocked city, and most certainly not the Republic of Northern Serenia. Bloody republican fascists. Matt, you screwball you better have taken another picture of Parker's Circle!
  3. Adult shop Lulu

I honestly see nothing at all wrong with making a Adult Store, we download custom content to make our cities more realistic. Creators make the lots, mods, maps, BATs, and what-not so we can show them how we used their creation to make our cities more realistic. So ask yourselves, anyone ask yourself what city have you visited that has no Adult content shop or store in. There are none you know why, because "adult content" ranges from X-Rated objects to alcoholic beverages and tobacco. So all you people posting that this was wrong to post or that it can harm minors that come on to the website get over it and start to live reality.
  4. Seems I'm having a problem with dependencies.

Cool_Z, catty-cb, and Nonny Moose thanks for the help.
  5. Hello Simtropolis community, I recently went on a modding spree and I downloading almost all of Simgoobers plugins, some in particular don't seem to have all of their dependencies. I am almost certain I have installed all of the dependencies listed in the HTLM ReadMe files he's provided with the plugins. Here is a picture of four buildings from simgoobers Department Stores, Grocery Stores, and Large Stores. Big old boxes or just no building model. For some reason Simtropolis says I'm not allowed to use an image extension that I'm using so here's a link to the picture. https://www.google.c...08ubIbNiYCx086w

  9. Shelby, Cleveland County Series: Memorial Courthouse

I forgot to mention this. Installation: Documents/SimCity 4/ Plugins Just drag and drop. I will be releasing with the planned city hall a V2 of this that has the fountain fixed(Cause I just noticed the water is just shooting randomly out of a lamppost) and an actual statue in the front. With the clock in the middle. So just forget about this until V2 is released.

Shelby is a city in Cleveland County, NC, USA. This city is my hometown and I decided to make a series of lots and what-not to honor it. As a result of the more small and rural cities/towns I am beginning to create I felt a thirst for certain civic buildings with more flavor. Looking at the same old courthouse and city hall, I just felt like they were so scrunched in or made for close together areas. So I made this remodeled lot to appeal to the more artsy eye? Basically the lot fills a 6x6 space. Its outer square is line with tiled cement, or pavement. The outer-inner square is a grass texture. The inner most square is the pavement again for the foundation of the building. The lot is covered with flora. The back of the building has a small parking lot. and the front a fountain. I just modified the Maxis Courthouse. ------------NOTICE------------------ This now includes V2 of the Courthouse. V2 has a statue in front of the building. There are two files you can download if you wish, installation has not changed. Includes V3 no trees. (Just random planters XD) --------------Dependencies------------------------ Maxis Buildings As Props Augustus Caesar Statues Sorry no links. I recommend for the best search if you can't immediately find on STEX, is Google or the Lex(registration required) So far there are NO BROWN BOXES. Please notify me if you have this problem in your city, provide a picture. IMPORTANT NOTICE!: Since this may have the same file ID as the Maxis Courthouse you are to "move, but keep both files" for correct installation. This depends though if you want to keep the older one. Since I plan on making a center in my cities made perfectly for large, beautified buildings Ill only be using this one, but the older is key for areas with smaller buildings.
  11. Hello simtropolis community, Yes, yes I know there have been many posts about this. I will be honest I have not read every single post, but really, who would? Anyway to the problem. I recently began modding SC4. Note that this is background and could be part of the problem. Every so once in a while when I get an idea I go on an all out modding spree. Meaning: I download every mod incorporated with my idea from SC4Devotion and Simtropolis. So far I have downloaded: HBS Sets LBT Sets Most BSC Sets MAPP Sets NAM BLS CAL CSX There are more, but I can't name them all. I did also recently download a "Quick Launcher" though it failed so I uninstalled it, thinking this may have been the root of the problem. Not much later I downloaded the save notification mod. When the first notification to save came up and I either saved or ignored it the game CTD not too longer after, losing all my hard work I had made within about 10-15 minutes. As a result I uninstalled this as well. Before I left my PC for five days on a school trip, the game began randomly crashing to desktop again. I thought it may have been a recent plugin I installed(the name I can not remember). And as a result again I uninstalled the plugin. This temporarily solved the problem until three days before I left, the game started CTD again. So I began saving my cities every 5 minutes or so when I played again. I left on my trip. And so I returned to the problem still there.(Of course what am I thinking? It magically fixed it self?!) I tried a method when I returned, I went into affinities and set the game to using one CPU. This is all I have done and yet the game still crashed. I am using a Steam, bought version of SimCity 4: Deluxe Edition PC: HP Windows 7, AMD Athlon II 220 Dual-Core Processor 4GB system memory, 500 GB hard drive NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE integrated graphics Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Please help me.
