I like the inner city around this small park ... so why not sharing it here -
The government buildings of the Principality of Südkap are rather small compared to previous entries, since Südkap consists only of one town and two villages. The old castle is the main residence of the prince. Behind it is a wildlife enclosure. Below the large park is the state ministry building, in white. Here the actual administration and the elected delegates of the council work. Directly next to the state ministry building is the summer residence of the prince, a small palace with a labyrinth maze.

We should certainly celebrate that event! Maybe one or several screenshot exhibitions .... Like showing the best screenshots and mods of each year? Maybe some new mods to celebrate the event? (Like a grand in-game museum or a monumental in-game statue?) Maybe a city-building competition? Or a cooperative city-journal showing the celebrations of the anniversary in multiple different places and towns from different players? We need a logo for the 20 anniversary (like using the SimCity 4 Logo, and adding "20 years of city-building" in a cool font below) Maybe informing other newer city-building games communities about the anniversary? (for example the cities skylines or the workers & resources communities) Maybe trying to try to build SimCity 4 in other city-builders (for example "build a stereotypical SimCity 4 city in cities skylines ...." )- 46 Replies

Here is my current SC4 region. Currently 338.000 inhabitants. I still have to do some landscaping in the east .... The main peninsular is already densely settled... further expansion would in most areas requiring to demolish farmland ... I try to learn using the PEG Coastal Development Mods for multiple harbors.

Why not start the discussion here? I mean if we are already talking about the advisors ... It seems as if the advisors nowadays follow outdated views on city planning... I mean constructing coal power plants, promoting limitless growth and urban sprawl and more and more roads instead of intelligent transit. --------------------------------------------------- I rarely ever hear anything from her. It seems as if @Lucario Boricua and @valiullin have some serious accusations against Mr. Fairbanks .... .... Fascinating conspiracy theory ideas .... Maybe Fairbanks has a secret deal with the construction industry? Fairbanks convinces the mayor to add more and more zoning, and earns a cut from their profits .... Would make a nice background story for a city journal ... The advisors start a conspiracy against the player and govern their towns themselves ... -

Sometimes it is interesting to create dystopian places ... I mean most of my cities should either offer a good or adequate standard of living. But from time to time a bad place to experiment .... Also successful government isn't measured by profitability ... A government or municipality should not try to be a profit oriented corporation. Instead a high standard of living for all citizens should be the desired goal to measure success.
