I'm Poo-Pooing on this because it sucks. There's something to be said for being new at BATing, but hell, you don't have to feel inclined to post every little thing you've ever made. Look around on the site. Does what you have look as good as what other people have made? No? Then don't post until you're up to speed. I can't BAT worth a crap, so I don't post my horrible, horrible creations on here mostly out of respect for the many people here who are brilliant at that.

Thank you for your help. This isn't something I've allowed to build-up over time -- I usually nip garbage problems in the bud when a city's founded. I set out some incenerators, and then develop industrial areas around them as time and money permits. In this case, however, the trash just began compounding exponentially. JustAnotherSim86 suggested I download a Black Hole lot, which I have, and the garbage problem has now gone away with the added capacity of the lots. Thank you all again for your help and guidance! A city I’ve created is suddenly dealing with an exponential amount of garbage. I’ve never had issues with garbage management before, and I’ve been playing SimCity 4 for years. I was, in fact, quite surprised when I started getting scolded by my utilities and environmental advisors in the game due to a surplus in garbage. Suddenly, I was hit with 40,000 tons of garbage a month, and that jumped to 160,000 by the same time the following year in the game. I’ve since closed out the game and hope to have a solution before I go back into the game and my amount of garbage continues to increase. This city of nearly 1 million people is now entirely powered on waste-to-energy incinerators, plus power is being sold to a neighbor, and all my many landfills are full and my amount of garbage continues to increase. Best as I can figure, there’s something in the game that’s producing more and more garbage. But, this is a city of nearly 1 million residents spread over a very large map, and all my efforts to find some building that I may have downloaded that would be giving me this problem have been for not. There are two buildings I’ve seen appearing in my game with great frequency – the Hardun Steel Mill, which I believe was designed and released by SimGoober, and then the GooberGen Pharmaceutical industrial building, also released by SimGoober. But I’ve gone through now and demolished all of those buildings from the city, let the city run for two months, and the decrease in garbage has been barely noticeable (no more noteworthy than it would have been if I’d gone in and demolished 15 or 20 random buildings and ensured that their lots stayed blank for a couple of months). I download a good many buildings from the STEX, and I’ll download nearly anything that SimGoober uploads – I’m a pretty big fan of his work. Given that he knows what he’s doing, I would be surprised if it’s his creations giving me all this grief. Does anyone know what I can do to eliminate this surge in refuse? I hesitate creating a new city in the event that this problem should recur again and again. Perhaps there’s some building that’s on the STEX that has a considerable problem with pollution and garbage production? The only other thing I’ve done differently in game play is incorporating the new BSC park lots into my cities – and this one has several rather large BSC parks and garbage production remains quite high. Thank you for any advice you might be able to offer. Sincerely, I remain, Scribe

What the hell? Someone drew a square, plopped the in-game cruise ship port, a bus station, fountain and parking lot on it, as well as some street lights, and tried to pass it off as a BAT? The ship is fine, but the lot sucks! It looks like something you'd find during amature hour at the simcity.com site.
