Any way to restore Cities: Skyline to it's original state?
Mr. Bones replied to Mr. Bones's topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
Not sure what you want to do exactly or why. Maybe explain what you are trying to do before you lose everything or make things worse. If you want to remove mods/assets just go to the steam workshop from within steam and unsubscribe to all of them. You can remove the game by uninstalling it. make sure to remove Colossal order from your user folder/appdata/local (contains saved files so be careful.) remove Cities: Skylines from program files (x86) of your boot drive (usually C:) usually under steam/steamapps/common/cities_skylines You can even uninstall all of steam. remove all the steam folder from program files (x86) on your boot disk. This is the reason why. https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/68607-sewage-color-problems/ And uninstalling and reinstalling the game will do nothing. All the data will still be saved through the steam cloud. -
Can someone explain "themes"?
Mr. Bones replied to joeymozzer's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
Where do you go to select between Euro or International and where could I find some custom themes? I've searched Simtropolis and the the Steam Workshop so I figured it was impossible to have custom themes. -

Can someone explain "themes"?
Mr. Bones replied to joeymozzer's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
Themes are actually quite simple. If the map has a European theme to it, it means that most of the buildings have a European style instead of an international style. If the map has an International theme to it, it means that most of the buildings have an International style instead of a European style. You can not have both themes in the same map nor can you change the theme of the map the creator chose. However there is a mod which allows you to set the themes of districts. You can find it here. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=466158459&searchtext=district+themes -

What do you want in Cities: Skylines?
Mr. Bones replied to AidanA28's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
What would this do? District borders are arbitrary, and citizens do not necessarily work/live in the same district, so what good would it do to know that the Spring Grove district needs more commercial? You would have to have some way of turning it off/on for each district, as I sometimes draw a "district" around a single bridge or highway connection for the sole purpose of preventing heavy traffic. Actually demand is calculated per district, that's why separate RCI bars would make sense. I build some of my cites in Cities: Skyline different then most people. I usually create multiple communities which I call towns with their own residential, commercial, and industrial parts and they are always connected together by highways. I manage each town using the district tool to cover the entire community and manage it from there. However I find it quite hard to even out the RCI for each town I create. I don't want my cims traveling from their hometown to another town to find work or shop. It's difficult to keep them living and staying in the same town without them causing traffic jams to get to where they want to go. That is why with a district RCI demand bar it would be possible for me to create multiple communities in the same region without these problems. It would be similar to SimCity 2013's RCI demand where there was a regional demand for RCI and your citys RCI demand, and I would like a way to turn it off or on.- 307 Replies

referendum (Final Declaration) Should avatars be round?
Mr. Bones replied to Dirktator's topic in Simtropolis Related
Dirk said this earlier: "Aside from the fact that as a community we must arrive at one decision on this critical issue, having to manage a duplicate theme just for square/round avatars is a drag for me." I agree we must arrive at one decision, but why could that one decision be to not change at all? And personally I do not see how this is a "critical issue" stated by Dirk, nor do I see a reason as to why someone would want to change. -

Mr. Bones replied to Dirktator's topic in Simtropolis Related
Circles in my opinion defiantly fits better then the squares but I think you should just keep it how it is with having both themes available. I also see no reason as to why you wouldn't want to keep it as it is. Having both available keeps everyone happy! -
Mods Will Not Appear After Subscribed From The Steam Workshop
Mr. Bones posted a topic in Cities: Skylines Technical Help Q&A
1. Woke up and played some Cities Skyline earlier today with no problems. 2. I had already bought Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas the day before so I installed them. 3. Played Fallout 3 for about an hour. 4. Bought and played Ark: Survival Evolved for about another hour. 5. Played Cites Skyline and started having mod problems. Here is the issue - I started up Cities Skyline and clicked Continue, I quickly noticed my mods were no longer working in game so I did not save and I quit back to the main menu, from there I went to Content Manager and clicked on mods... but then I was extremely confused when I noticed my mods were no longer there. There were only the 3 default mods Colossal Order gives you. I then clicked on the Steam Workshop category below the Mods category to find all my mods there, but I could not turn them on or off, they were just all listed there. I then unsubscribed to all my mods and resubscribed to them again to find out that the same issue occurred. They are still listed in the Steam Workshop category unable to be turned on or off. I am not sure whether or not purchasing or installing Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, or Ark: Survival Evolved affected the mods in my game but I suspect they did. I am addicted to this game and cannot play it without mods but Ark and Fallout will sustain me until I can resolve the issue. Any help at all would be appreciated! Thank you very much! -
Probably bugged.

Simcity Complete Edition Unable to Update
Mr. Bones posted a topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
I recently bought Simcity Complete Edition on Origin and I am unable to update the game. When I attempt too it gives me a rectangular box saying, and I quote, "Windows cannot find 'C\:Program Files (x86)\Origin\OriginClientService.exe'. Make Sure you typed the name correctly, and try again." I'm still able to play the game normally with my mods and nothing is affected. I don't know if mods could affect the game updating but I have some mods installed. What could I do to fix this, and I'll admit I'm a newb when it comes to computer stuff. -

Playing With Friends : Should Skylines Add It?
Mr. Bones replied to XxSkitxX's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
I think they should at least have some sort of chat or something. I get kind of bored sitting there all by myself listening to music and playing CS, I want to talk to people.
