While I appreciate the replies and information, I am fully aware of the default maxis building styles and where to find them. The video I saw had those maxis building styles replaced with alternate styles of buildings.

Not too long ago I was watching some Youtube videos of some fantastic builders of cities (thanks to haljacky for making so many videos, which I have binge watched on more than one occasion), I came across a video that a builder had a mod for building styles. For the life of me I cannot find this mod, and was hoping someone could give me a starting point for alternate building styles. Thanks in advance.

I am running SC4 on Windows 10 with mostly texture and building mods. I did download a residential demand park mod to increase demand (I have since deleted) I am also running CAM to develop buildings. Normally to keep the Dirty Industry I build a small industry city adjacent to keep the pollution out of my city. I have plenty of connections between the two. The issue I am having is after I get my city going I start another one and the commercial demand is through the roof, but the residential demand is non existent. Any subsequent city I cannot get any residential demand to rise. Really confused.

Comp, I do appreciate the reply, I did read and re-read the info on the SPAM. Maybe I am missing something or I just don't get it did not mean to get snotty just at a fever pitch and supremely frustrated trying to figure things out.

Thanks for the oh so informative "read me" comment. I ALWAYS try to research an answer before I attempt to post on here because of smart asses.

Being new to mods I am trying to relearn how to do some things within the game. After installing the SPAM mod I have started a new city and that there is no demand for commercial or any other industry with exception of argirculture which has stayed peaked along with $$ and $ residnetial demand. My guess is that because the mod enables the agriculture to actually develop well into the age of the city. I am assuming that it is a new city the sims living there do not have any education, therfore they will not move to the higher paying commercial and high tech industry until the education level raises. I just wanted to make sure that I was on the right track and that I wasnt going to build just one massive farm on the biggest tile in th region. thanks in advance for any insight/help or direction.

I am glad I ordered the CD version so that I can make whatever changes I want to it in addition, I don't always have connectivity in third world countries and would like to be able to not have to log in to play.

Moose, I appreciate the reply, I am running a digital download from Origin. After some other research and looking around I think I am going to have to go ahead and buy the game off of amazon, because I got the shitty old patch from origin that I cannot install the NAM mod. Thanks for all the help and replies.

I am pretty novice so I trying to figur things out.I can get a city going and making money with no issues however, when I start to rezone residential to get skyscrapers, my buildings will build but then the unemployment goes through the roof. I then watch demand and start zoning high density commercial and industrial and then the commute time goes high enough for the high density residential to become abandonded; very frustrating.
