  1. So much fuzz about nothing. Revo has said many times over he is doing the building for the sake of architecture. He is neither glorifying nor supporting anything. There are tons of buildings related to some dark history, but that is no the point here. It is a game, it has no nazi banner on it. There are real life problem worth spending energy on, not this. Revo is a great asset creator and that's where the focus should be. We all know what it is about but I don't think this is the place for politics. Let's appreciate Revo's work instead. /Over and out.
  2. You can create that with creativity. No real need for that tbh.... I dont wann give modders a lot of extra work, but you can create it yourself
  3. Ive been waiting so much for this! I love you Andreharv and Bloodypenguin!!! This is bigger than the last expansion for me XD
  4. @fredinno Above-ground subways have been longed for, for a long time. Most people resorted to digging down the normal heavy rail due to that reason, as most metro/subway systems around the world are in fact a mixture of above ground and underground =) I am superhyped for this mod and cant wait until it is released
  5. Greetings everyone! A problem has arisen for me to which I havent been able to find an answer on google and in several mod discussions on steam. When I plop trees, save the game, load the game and delete those trees (with either the tree brush or bulldozer), they return upon loading the game again. This is of course frustrating if you want to remove a certain patch of trees for a building project etc. I have tried with the tree deduplicator, but it only removes several tree instances which are on top of each other. Does anyone have any thoughts of what the problem could be? Thanks in advance, Johan
  6. Entry 21 - Graduation Day (5E130)

That looks wonderful! =) I really like your university! Your students seem to like driving smart cars May I ask, with what tool did you make the transport maps?
  7. Hi everyone! =) I ran in to troubles with my old city, so I started anew and decided to put more effort into details. The city will look quite similar though. Today's update will be about the new Central station - a.k.a. Hauptbahnhof. The Hauptbahnhof will serve as the major hub for public transport of the inner city. 2.1 Overview of the Hauptbahnhof. It is located in the locality "Mitte" in the borough carrying the same name. It is a two level station serving north-south and east-west, also connected to the U-Bahn system and one bus stop for local buses and one for special buses, i.e. to the airport or the sea port. 2.2 As the city expanded, there was need for a larger station, so the old building (the red one) was supposed to be demolished for a larger station, but public protests forced to planners to keep the old building, with just half of the expansion completed. Nowadays a small square with kiosks and squares cover the site where the expansion should have continued. 2.3 Hauptbahnhof from the "Altstadt" side, a small public restroom and bike stands were put up on this side. 2.4 A track overview of the East-West line, also called Stadtbahn. The station has a total of 16 platforms, of which 4 are on the first level. 2.5 An overview of the station complex. (Most lines currently lack names and numbers) Terminology: S-Bahn - Commuter trains U-Bahn - Underground metro O-Bahn - Above ground metro Legend: 1. S-Bahn 2. S-Bahn 3. S-Bahn 4. Long distance services 5. Airport Express Trains 6. Long distance Services 7. S-Bahn 8. O-Bahn 9. U-Bahn 10. U-Bahn 11. U-Bahn 12. Bus Terminal for inner city lines 13. Bus Terminal for special places, such as airports. 14. Exit to Altstadt 15. Exit to Mitte Thank you for taking your time
  8. Show us your Area view

  11. Rio has a sewage problem

"By adolescence, he said, people in Rio have been so exposed to the viruses in the water their bodies build up antibodies. But foreign athletes and tourists won’t have that protection." That adaptability of the human race
  12. Greetings everyone I'd like to introduce my city Carlstadt and base this CJ on the city's expansion, renewal and gentrification. Let us take a quick look: 1.0 This is the core of the city, loosely based on a famous city in Europe. The central and eastern (to the right) districts are mainly office and shopping oriented, while the western districts tend to be more residential. The Stadtbahn (City Line) can be see running through the city on elevated railways (west-east) and a partially underground partially ground level railway running north-south, crossing at Hauptbahnhof (the central station). 1.1 The first suburb created to ease the burden of the core, however currently it lags behind in quality of life and is in dire need of gentrification. 1.2 The great double deck bridge spanning across the bay, it gives a beautiful sight of the sea despite polluted water. 1.3 The parliament building. 1.4 An overview of the Altstadt (Old city) with its small streets, many squares and churches. 1.5 Heavy traffic in the inner city, 1.6 ...and on the way into the city. 1.7 The train stations are also quite crowded, despite the only stations in the core and in the one suburb being open. 1.8 An interchange built on reclaimed land in the harbour. 1.9Another interchange built to ease the traffic in the eastern districts. 1.10 The largest interchange of the city, only three directions are currently open, with the last major stretch currently under construction to complete a circular passage around the core. 1.11 Finally a picture of the skyline of the core. Highrises are forbidden in the central districts of the city, with only church spires towering above the roofs. Upcoming projects are done in three phases : Phase 1 - Public Transport The construction of a U-Bahn (Underground train system). Road upgrades in the core. A bus system for the core. Phase 2 - Gentrification of the Core Gentrification and naming the public buildings, squares and parks in the core. Adding greenery to the core. Moving away polluting buildings from the core's boundaries. Phase 3 - Expansion around the Ringbahn and industrialisation Building projects within the ring line of the railway Expanding the industry in all resources to limit the import and expand exports Modernisation of the airport and construction of a freight sea port and a passenger sea port. This will be it for this time, thanks for reading - Johan
  13. Search for "Control Building Level Up", it is in the workshop on Steam, and allows you to control the stages, which lets you have a quite nice flexibility what to grow in a district
  14. It is to ensure a smooth slope. The angle from which the photo is taken, doesn't show it, but the bridge (left) is much higher than the road (right) and it is a small tribute to the Rainbow Bridge in Tokyo =D
  15. So I made a few interchanges:
